I think it was Felix a few episodes ago who had the great take that partisan politics in the US has literally boiled down to two near-identical teams whose fans take turns making excuses for why they're useless except when they do appalling shit, switching who's making the excuses every few years
I liken it to the GOP being the Harlem Globtrotters and the Dems being the Washington Generals, except with none of the redeeming, charming qualities of either team.
I think everything about it is great. The cinematography, the acting, the writing, the themes. Just easily a 10/10 for me.
Yeah. I think that's all true. What stands out to me as the most good is a storyline that is complicated but not overly convoluted, is pretty consistent, and actually wraps up in a satisfactory way. It's got 11.5/10 writing.
I felt like the characters sort of stopped being entirely human in the third season. It was all tension and no humor which made it feel less grounded.
