Digimon evolutions were wack
i only realized that last year. it turns it into one of the more mysterious and unsettling digimon designs. like, where did it get the pelt? why does a dinosaur want to look like a dog? does it impale the pelt over its horn? why does it have handles? did it stitch it together?
It’s pretty obvious down to genghis khan even showing up in the same place as cubone in pikachu cardiac arrest version
Due to its extremely timid and shy personality, it always gathers up the data which Garurumon leaves behind, and shapes it into a fur pelt to wear. Because it is wearing the fur pelt of Garurumon, who is feared by other Digimon, it fills the role of safeguarding itself as a result of protecting its body.
This only raises further questions
Gabumon deserved so much better than Matt. I know he was looking out for his lil bro half the time, but Matt always walked all over Gabumon when the going got rough. And Gabumon literally gave the guy the skin off his back.
Going to have to censor that one for western audiences.
Ok if this isn’t just the final proof that the evangelical right only hated Pokémon because it was popular and pulling their kids away from their own boring ass media IDK what is.
The thing is, there's probably someone out there with a Gabumon fursuit and this thought makes me uncomfortable.
It is wild that digimon was just slept on. Everyone was all about pokemon and elfin lied at the time. But they just slept on this right here.
