That's good, doesn't look like you'll be one of those guys who burn their ramen in the microwave and set off the fire alarm for everyone. We need less of those guys.

I eat this exact meal pretty frequently and I've got a tip for that salmon: soak it in lemon juice first. This is a good tip for all fish, because it helps get rid of that nasty fishy taste. You see that white goo coming out of the side? The lemon juice breaks that stuff down and you can just rinse it off after it's soaked. Do all that and let it dry before you season it with anything else. You don't need much lemon juice either, if your campus has free lemon wedges anywhere for iced tea, one wedge is enough for two of those filets.

it was seasoned with lemon, garlic, and some other shit. The goo looking stuff was the garlic.

        u got this

if you're ever making pasta and don't have enough other ingredients to add, a quick saute of some garlic and red pepper in olive oil to toss the pasta in does wonders for a simple & tasty dish

Damn, that looks exactly like the chicken I used to make in college! I've upped my game a bit since then but nothing tasted better than those first few dinners on my own for the first time. It started a lifelong love of cooking. Enjoy, dude!

Yeah. It’s just some sort of electric stove because the school doesn’t want people to accidentally leave the gas on or catch a towel on fire or something
