if a war comes to our country

This is an actual thing people living in the real world today actually believe; how the government conned people into actually believing this I'll never know, I say as I watch another MCU/Hollywood movie about a powerful alien force invading Earth and America's greatest heroes fighting them off, proving that eternal vigilance is the correct stance all the time.

No seriously though, if you actually believe this your brain is about as powerful as a computer from the 50's without the mathematical capabilities. Eat some fish.

This reminds me: there's a guy in my dad's super chuddy neighborhood with one of these stickers but also a marine corps license plate and I've never been able to decide what the most likely explanation is.

Oh yeah, the vehicle is an El Camino if that changes things

I'd bet it's inter-service bullshit, marines teasing soldiers

Yeah, that's probably it, but I really like to imagine that someone put it there maliciously and he just doesn't get the joke: "My girlfriend's husband...that's me. I fight for your freedom and I have a girlfriend, hoo-rah!"

"Muscles Are Required Intelligence Not Expected."

You learn all these dumb jokes growing up next to a military base.

Marine-type boots love that stereotype and own it. They're yoked to the ideology that tightly. yea

Feed the stereotype by feeding the old coot colored wax. Everyone gets a laugh out of it, unless you stole the crayons from a kid.

I choose to believe a poly relationship where the girlfriends husband is also in the military

Who's Jodie? Is the poster a famous person or something?

I've been looking for that painting for the past year. I'm glad someone finally reposted the meme

I want to buy that painting for my house (I don't actually have a house but for a hypothetical future house), it looks awesome, I checked into it and it appears to have sold at auction for £6,000 in 2010, guess I'll have to get a reproduction.

There's a lot of stuff I'd love to get but can only get a reproduction of so I know that pain

Yeah I'm not and probably never will be in a position to be buying real paintings lol I looked it up more out of curiosity to see if I could find where it is located etc. In case you were wondering the painting is called Aggravation, by Briton Riviere (1896).

One of my highest aspirations is to become a Jodie, too bad I don't live anywhere near an American military base. Ah well, one can dream

Tbh I wouldn't want to fuck the kinds of people who would get into a relationship with a troop, they just strike me as nasty

Nothing but respect for our brave jodies who get in there and get the job done no matter how traumatic it might be though rat-salute-2
