Wow. Y’all still haven’t identified electoralism as the problem?

Marxism-Leninism and the principled stand on anti-electoralism isn’t qualified by whether or not you like the VP pick this time.

Lenin didn’t have to live to see Biden - you’re always going to get shit candidates. You must already know this.

A contradiction and an example of cognitive dissonance: You know electoralism is pointless but you keep doing electoralism and thinking electoralism. Probably obsessively. Let’s call up the Freudo-Marxists and Lacanians.

Electoralism is an unpleasant pacifier that you haven’t spit out yet. Electoralism exists to stifle revolution. How do you think this works? Do you think electoralism is only a psyop for the minds of “the masses”, the average voter, and certainly not you because you’re a cool leftist who is smart and going to vote third party and just above it all? It feels like a psyop because you’re still fucking in one.

Pull the electoralist brain worms out and start working on finding radical orgs, or building your own Red Guard collectives - this shit is going down.

Because it's part of the fiction they tell themselves about how they only lose because young people are lazy or whatever. Otherwise they have to acknowledge that the candidates themselves are dogshit.

Alright this is some electoralism shit but if you vote 3rd party then that will actually be counted as a protest vote, whereas not voting means nothing.

Though at this point Kanye might be the better person to protest vote with idk

I already wasn't going to vote for Biden but now I'm not voting for Biden even harder

I already knew I wasn’t voting Democrat the moment they fucked Bernie.

This just cements that decision. What moron looks at the present state of the country and thinks “You know what the people need right now? A former cop”?

If I was in a swing state, I'd bite my tongue and vote for them. But I'm in California so I'm just going to vote for the old commies Gloria La Riva and Leonard Peltier.

I'm in the environmental field and seeing firsthand the irreparable damage Trump is doing to the environment. With him in office we're well on the way to losing public lands and face ecological collapse as a result. I doubt Biden/Kamala will be much better but I hope they'll at least halt the downsizing of public lands and the dismantling of the EPA. Couple that with Trump and Barr using Federal law enforcement the last few weeks.

I completely understand we need to pull political power away from the Democratic party and we can't vote Fascism out but 4-8 years of Biden/Kamala will give the left more time to organize and grow. We need as much time as possible to prepare for when a figure worse than Trump shows up.

I don't blame you for not voting for Biden but that's my two cents as an environmentalist.

I feel like the 8 years of Obama was supposed to have been the time the organizing was to happen. We were fresh off the Bush W years, and people just went back to sleep.

If Biden wins it'll be the same thing again. People will go back to sleep, another couple of years will pass and nothing will have been done.

Obama was pre-Bernie. Like him or not, Bernie was incredibly instrumental in the growth of the left.

Yeah, I don't disagree. I don't know, just very confused about the whole situation. Electoralism is a sham regardless.

the irreparable damage Trump capitalism is doing to the environment.

This shit's been happening since long before Trump.

Serious environmentalists are currently stocking up on fertilizer and diesel for normal farm activities and no other reasons.

You were going to vote for Biden before? Really? I mean, if you live in a swing state I can understand, but most Americans don't.
