I assume this was to make a point about the West's divisions of African and Middle Eastern regions. But this map still has way more cultural awareness than the West did when drawing their straight lines.

There was a post, probably by Basedball I think, about how Europe would look like if it was colonized by Europe, but instead of being the same borders but all square, was actually a funny map where for example south italians, greeks and turks were the same country.

he was a complicated guy. definitely socialist.

but he did shady stuff, a lot of cooperating with NATO, allegedly dictatorial in his country, and a few pointless wars with Libya's neighbors.

despite this Libya had the highest quality of life in Africa. Gaddafi took oil revenue and actually invested it in the country instead of doing gulf state bullshit. healthcare, home ownership, irrigation and shit. he's cool for that alone, and the West's vilification & actions against him were fully motivated by the fact Libya had oil it wasn't letting them steal.

: D Super excited for the expanded and voice acted version releasing this month that's free for existing owners. More voice acting and 4 new major political quests, it's low key the most exciting thing on my calendar.

I was unaware a new version was coming out, I just played the game for the first time a couple months ago. Now I’m gonna have to play it again!

My only regret is I obviously went full communism builder in my first playthrough, and now with the new evidently robust (they even change the user interface?) political quests I'm torn between... Failing to build communism again, or opt for one of the other three inferior options for new content

I feel like it will be hard to resist choosing the communist dialogue options again lol

I may roleplay a completely delusional rockstar style libertarian, but even in a fantasy picking the fascist options is troubling to my dumb sensitive brain

Also make sure to split Romansh speakers into all 4 countries and ignore any demands for recognition of culture or language.
