Fun fact, Ayana Pressley, the only memmber of "the squad" that endorsed Warren over Bernie, is also the only member of "the squad" that doesn't have a well funded more right leaning primary challenger against herself.

I don't think those two are connected, more like she made an error in judgment and the shitlibs didn't wanna fuck with her because she's not a Muslim or Latinx and they constantly insinuate non-Muslim Black women are the backbone of the party so there are limits to how far they can push it before people start to notice what horrible people they are for primarying four decent politicians that are good at their jobs

        Of the squad:
        Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez - DSA
        Rashida Tlaib - DSA
Ilhan Omar - not DSA, described by a staffer as a demsoc but publicly denies it.
Ayanna Pressley - not DSA, hasn't been "accused" of socialism to even need to deny it.

Omar and Pressley are definitely on the lib half of the squad.

Isra Hirsi is better than the whole squad. Her posting power is second to none.

AOC is the one that lectured protestors camping in Pelosi’s office. Called her “leader Pelosi” and refused to endorse progressives.

Ilhan on the other hand destroyed Elliot Abrams and wrote a bill to withdraw from Afghanistan.

But sure go ahead moron, you can count the meaningless party labels instead.

I mean Pressley is more right-wing than the others so of course she won't face any challengers.

MN-62 also elected Omar Fateh -- a democratic socialist -- to our state senate.

I hate having to worry about these primaries every 2 years

DNC gets everything they want on the Presidency/Senate level and the left has to rally every 2 years just to keep just 1 House Rep from losing to a corporate/AIPAC funded candidate

    it all feels so hopeless

You just have to fight like hell and take the wins where you get them.

I just gotta say. Like her or not, her style is on point.

We can only wish we could dress as good as her.

A couple of months ago you people were hoping to have a president and now you're happy some congresspeople won their primary? That all you have. There's nothing more American than having 0 self-awareness I suppose.

First of all, I'm not American. Secondly, this is a shitposting site, so maybe make yourself scarce if you can't handle a bit of fun in middle of all this doom and gloom.

Wait. You're not a burger and you post pro US electoralism bullshit? That's the most cucked thing I've ever seen.

Edit: get better jokes. This one's played out.

Nah I'm good. Guessing by the updoots, a lot of people still feel hope from watching -nominally- radical officials get reelected.

You wanna start an insurgency cosplay? Get more ppl then we'll talk

People respond more positively to messages that confirm their relative privilege and obscure the need for radical and risky action. Shocker.

"Hell ye gonna burn down this precinct with the bois" ~no one else shows up, riot gear police and swat teams take you down~ "Aww fuck, guess I didn't consider the material conditions of ordinary folk before I started my insurgency cosplay."

Turns out you can participate in electoralism while also agitating for radical and risky action. A place of privilege is ignoring the material conditions now and refusing to explore every option we have of improving things short term.
