Going through a new game+ run of Ghost of Tsushima, and its like playing the game for the first time again. Anyone else have games that you just can't stop playing?

    Hearts of Iron 4.

"It's late and I have work tomorrow. I'll only play 'til 1938 or so."

Before I know it, it's 1943 ingame and 3AM in real life. I have to get up for work in 4 hours, but I'm so close to capitulating Germany, I'll just play a bit more...

PSA, AUS and Canada: Aha! The CSA might have had us on the ropes before, but with our new alliance we're sure to push them back!

        Pancho Villa: Buenos días.

Same but after 10 hours of playtime it's 3am and my country's borders haven't changed at all.

I always think of that line in peep show :

"shit, 5 hours on Blitzkrieg. this wasn't how it was suppose to be... can't stop now got to win the war for the nazis"

except of course I am always crushing the nazis into the dirt like a good tankie should :stalin-approval:

FTL: Faster Than Light. There are so many mods that add new ships / weapons / aliens / events that I'm always coming back every few months to play for a few days.

edit: also Skater XL with a bunch of mods to make it harder and more realistic. I'm a huge skate rat so this is my ultimate chill out game

        prepare to be amazed

installing them is pretty easy, there's a download and instructions on how to use the mod manager in the first link I posted here. For the total overhaul mods I would recommend Captains Edition first, once I played that a handful of times there was no going back to just default FTL

    Being completely serious, Bugsnax.

Both times I played it, I couldn’t make it last more than 2 days.

Dyson Sphere Program is an excellent addition to the factorio-genre of games. Try it out!

Stardew Valley, Valheim, Cities Skylines. Dwarf fortress. The last one I usually cant convince myself to even start a game, cause of all the hassle, but everytime I do, like half a day passes in a blink of an eye

Im thankful that my laptop cant run anything past 2011, because i wouldve tanked it playing modded cities skylines if i did. I just want a car-free/public transportation based city with canals.

I think DA2 is the dragon age ive played the least, but thats because i love the original and i had to get inquisition twice when i went from ps3 to ps4.

DA:O is also one of my absolute favourite games and I've actually put more hours into it than DA2 but I just love the writing and characters of DA2, I think they're the best in the series, and I liked that the story is mostly pretty small scale. Inquisition is probably my least favourite and least played, the size of the game always got in the way of all the actually good and interesting stuff in the game imo.

Hades, Age of Calamity for the Switch, Control on Ps4 has an amazing story and I've just been loving the exploration, FFVII remake has been good too.
