Keep in mind that the author of this article is a huge hack for the health industry and other corporate interests who hates Bernie. The article's intent is to scaremonger any Healthcare expansion by the Dems by tying it to Bernie

I'm not the biggest fan of Bernie, but pushing for expansions to Medicare in the Biden Infrastructure bill is hardly abandoning Medicare for All entirely.

This is one of those articles that you can wholesale ignore, it's just there to punch down on leftists and make you feel like victory is hopeless.

And it appears Sanders is fully on board with that approach, since he doesn’t think people should have to spend any money out of pocket on health care.

Ditto for most Democrats, who see the change as taking the country one step closer to a government-run health care system — which is most Democrats’ real goal.

Dems retreating from their platform like the tide going out.

      • No min-wage increase

      • Meager infrastructure plan with some token nod towards climate change

      • No drug law reforms

      • Band-aid on the gapping messy wound that is immigration

      • DC Statehood bill is stalling out

      • Obamacare fixes are getting dropped one-by-one

      • No real attempt to fill judicial vacancies

The only thing they've got time or energy for is corporate bailouts and a new War With China. Can't wait until 2022, when everyone in Congress shrugs and says "We can't govern during an election year, it wouldn't be fair to the voters" and this whole thing grinds to a halt.
