It is, and Bernie made an error in pushing this dialog. Socialism is when the interests of the bourgeoisie are subordinated to the interests of the working class. Without centering class struggle, "socialism" becomes meaningless, or at best represents mere social democracy (which is why Bernie was fine with this messaging). What we have now is not "corporate socialism" but corporatism, where the interests of the state and corporations are intertwined and mutually reinforcing.
