    That is quite literally what it is. I have heard "Iraq was a mistake but at least there was a reason even if it was a bad one" more times in the last week than I ever wanted to hear in my lifetime. They think Putin is just doing war for funsies so comparing the two, in their eyes, means I'm diminishing his evilness.

  • Part actual secret military technology, part psyop (to cover for exposure of secret military technology). If any of y'all are interested in a book exploring UFO lore from someone who tried to sort out fact from fiction and ultimately just walked away with more questions, I just finished reading Mirage Men and it was pretty good.

    Same, I voted for Howie but felt conflicted about it on election day. Pretty much every single thing that has happened since election day though has just reaffirmed that I made the right decision.

    This is like the foreign relations version of all those stories about the cops who end up in the hospital because they had racing heartbeat and felt dizzy and were convinced that the dude at the dunkin donuts counter poisoned his coffee, but the CCTV footage shows that they didn't. Turns out they actually just have a persecution complex and had a panic attack.
