istg it took them a month to get to checking my blood and write about how the estrogen levels were too high

thankfully i could check them from the hospital database myself and review that shit accordingly.

That sucks :( I think I got my results same-day? Maybe like the next morning? There's nothing about the tests themselves that require any sort of time delay. My results did say my E levels were high, but next to the actual number. I got the results direct from the testing company who doesn't need to know why I'm getting blood tests anyways though.

if you dont want to pay out the ass to a private healthcare provider you can only get blood work done by explicit orders from a doctor, and the doctors will look at the results when they have time. in Finland the trans clinics (we have two) and hormone clinics are overflowing with patients, and naturally the public options are being de-funded.

I think it would be like $190 USD here (Texas/USA) without doctor approval because insurance wouldn't cover it. But I can just message my doctor and ask them to order it and it be ordered same-day and both the lab company and the doctors provide access to the result (the later is slower). Really surprised how easy it is to get trans health care here (for now)... I can schedule a virtual appointment like the day before and have a wide range of times to choose from.
