It’s weird to randomly become conscious of furrowing your brow and wondering how that makes people perceive you.
I've been mean mugging for ages. Didn't even know it was a thing, I just grew up in rougher neighborhoods - never strictly bad but yknow there were people you didn't want to feel like they could interact with you in any meaningful way. I guess it's resting bitchface now...
Similar, where I'm from has a load of rough places. Lot's of queerphobes and hateful people. You'd not want people messing with you so you learn to give off vibes to dissuade them. I haven't lost it.
