I absolutely am a 'cannot eat without youtube' baby. but part of it is I find chewing noises, even my own, EXTREMELY over stimulating. the other part of it absolutely is having baby brain where I need constant stimulation and entertainment tho, can't lie

Eating and doing something else at the same time is overstimulating personally. There’s a pain in trying to pay attention to both. Eating gives me dopamine and that makes me want to never stop, but do I often want to continue? Stimulation is a dialectic and it sucks.

I just don't eat at a table (or with other people)

I couldn't get away growing up so I learned to eat my dinner in the fastest time possible.. I out speed anyone eating at this point, never found a faster eater because of it.

But like my misophonia is so sharp I can hear bubbles in a soda can across the room, literally can hear a pin drop lol but it's bad for certain triggers, I don't like when it goes off I get irrationally angry and can't stand it, it's like having nails down a chalk board or like a dentists drill for normal people. I have to leave that space or block out that sound. My hearing is in the upper range for humans too..
