    Partial success: Did not get overwhelmed and have to fight to avoid breaking down in tears in the middle of the resturaunt. Failed to be a complete success as I spoke shitty words from emotion instead of thought, which coupled with my pathological need for emotional & social harmony resulted in feeling like I have failed and upset my friends, as well as feeling mildly endangered due to how one of them spoke freely of wanting to kill fascists, in a town with a fascist problem, while none of us had weapons or ways to defend should someone overhear and follow us.

    Overall, a smashing success for me, even if I am completely emotionally wrecked now. You know youve got good social skills that arent maladaptive when a successful social experience leaves you crying kitty-cri-screm

        Yeah, there was a whole convo on it where my other friend laid it out for him. I encouraged it to come about with venting my frustration about the military (in a stupid and generalizing way) and then my friend kind of went off. He means well, but he doesnt want to kill anyone i dont think, and he got very "im gonna say what im gonna say, its my opinion and im gonna share it", kind of ignoring that, yk, hes hanging out with a couple of trans people who are already more acceptable targets. But everything went ok in the end ^^
