A lot of redditors (not just them) have very poor social/empathizing skills for a wide variety of reasons that makes them be more likely to be assholes irl/online and not even realize it, especially since you can't be a 'le logical enlightened' going off 'pure logic', else you'd likely have some sort of health condition that gets you a mention in neurolit.
There needs to be a Sesame Street for adults but about social skills for this demographic.
yeah. i got a book for my nephew because he wants to be a 'leader' (idk, boss, etc. something bullshit but i want to encourage his growth anyways). I picked up the 'radical' boss book and leafed through it and all the advice was like 'listen to people and take their comments to heart' and shit like that and I'm like... damn y'all REALLY need some handholding with this shit huh...
No joke, idk if people have always been like this but now we talk and write of it more or its a new phenomena partially due social-economic development having less meaningful face time among other things.
You have to remember the average redditor is a maladjusted 14 year old with an entitlement problem
Or a 30-something beardo to whom conspicuous consumption is more or less a religious orthodoxy.
Stupid shit like this gets upvoted on reddit constantly. Apparently r*dditors need to be reminded to not be complete assholes every day.
reddit and 4chan will fight over the dumbest shit and it's exhausting.
You can also be fake hostile and funny, but that takes talent, and you have to back it up with a willingness to so some self depreciating bits.
If people can tell you're actually mad, the bit is no longer funny.
I feel like a lot of people don't really understand this nuance.
the last one is so fucking annoying. give me a few hundred million dollars and and a few cinematography courses and I wjll make Avengers Endgame not suck ass!
I know taste is subjective but baked beans and vindaloo is objectively wrong darn it

Redditors all think they are the logical rational ones, even when they get into an argument with each other. They all think they are the most enlightened person in the room
