I look at transition timelines and I just have no idea what they’re talking about. People say the before picture looks sad but they’re usually smiling.
I think it's supposed to be that people no longer have a 1000 yard stare, probably from just being generally happier, but for me I feel like cameras have just gotten better in my 13 years of transition lol
I mean i think there would be considerable difference in common cadence after actually being confident in one's body
There's probably some amount of emotional projection going on, like an analogue to the Kuleshov Effect, when they know how unhappy the person really was in one part of their life versus the other, regardless of what the specific content of the pictures is.
I haven't studied medicine but I'm gonna diagnose you with prosopagnosia anyway
