His recent attempt to bully people onto is cast ruined any chance of me being interested in him. I get some of his edgelord controversies were out of context, but then he goes after people who defended him so he can get clout. Anyone who tries to unleash a horde on someone with less subs and then demand they defend themselves is grifting, regardless of his personal beliefs.

One of the mods put in rule that all Vaush posts were to be removed as there were a couple users that were rather persistent and passionate about making threads like this (one user, not naming names, made 4 such threads in one day), and they all tend to wind up just like this one.

I refuse to find out who he is or what he does. All I know is that the way people are talking about this dude is the exact same as when they were talking about Destiny the first time I heard of him.

Honestly - it's all the debate guys.

    All of them are trash.

He's anti ML and a leftcom.

Personally... if you draw wisdom from the man and you feel good about that; fine.

I like my sources more authoritarian and more serious. Or at least more serious about ML thought. You know... communist shit.

He’s not even a left com, he’s an anarchist. That being said, while I don’t think he’s right about everything, the more anti capitalist voices on the internet getting people introduced to these concepts the better.

I think it depends on where you're coming from. If you're coming from an AuthLeft perspective then you're definitely going to feel that way because a lot of his content is "fuck tankies," but I think for socialist ideas and combating Nazis he can be pretty useful. I like a lot of his takes (great perspective of the current protests, for example) but I do think he can take the edginess too far. I personally don't like how he talks down to religious/spiritual people (Wiccans, Christians, Muslims, etc.) but I do think he has a particular way of branding himself beneficial to the deradicalization of the Alt-Right. I think a lot of his controversies are unfounded, and he published a video of all of them if you want to check it out. I do wish we would stop obsessing so much about YouTube streamers (either intense hatred or parasocial tendencies) and should really work on triangulating our sources as a group.

Some YouTube / streamer personality who does like leftist rants and (maybe?) debates. Kinda like dirtbag left I guess. He doesn't have entirely shitty views but boy are there some bad ones, especially when it comes to doing intersectionality with your leftist views. You can find some clips of the bad takes in this thread.
