Its very funny because Crowder is a notoriously smug dumbass and incidents like this every now and then showcase how much of a tremendous coward he is, and he represents the conservative right in general.

    Necessary Seder - Crowder Lore

Politicon: Crowder had been scheduled to appear at PolitiCon. Seder was invited to come but agreed only on the condition that he could debate someone. He suggested Crowder and Crowder instantly stopped answering PolitiCon's emails. The event scheduler says that crowder got "Cold feet". The "Cold feet" meme is born.

The Challenge: Sam Seder issues an open debate challenge to Crowder which births this truly top-tier meme.

McInnes: Gavin McInnes (a white supremacist) wants Seder to appear on his show. Seder would normally refuse but McInnes already has Crowder scheduled and McInnes offers the opportunity for a debate. Crowder instantly cancels.

6/14/21: Crowder has a debate scheduled with Ethan Klein. 30 minutes before the debate is scheduled Sam Seder ends his normally scheduled livestream early. Crowder's dad calls Ethan and cancels citing a "medical emergency" with Crowder's pregnant wife. Crowder re-schedules the debate for noon on 6/21/21. The exact time that Sam's daily livestream goes live.

6/21/21: Crowder connects to H3H3 but hides off-screen until Seder's livestream goes live. Only when he thinks it's safe does he sit down on his set. But he's wrong. To quote Crowder "OH NO! It's Sam Seder! What a ... WOW a what a fucking nightmare!" Sam Seder had pre-recorded his live show and managed to fake-out crowder. Crowder shows his whole ass: During Crowder's ensuing sweaty panic he mentions Seder ending his livestream early before the previous debate. Admitting that he has been following What Seder is doing and where he is. Possibly admitting that he used his pregnant wife as a prop to dodge even the chance of running into Seder. Crowder spends a few visibly shook moments on camera and then flees. Damage control: Some hours after the debate Crowder must have pulled in some crazy favors because he suddenly announced an interview with Don Jr. at 7AM the next morning. This announcement of an interview with a major figure came just 14 hours before the interview was scheduled. Crowder is trying to make his fans forget about him getting dunked on.

A prime tactic of chuds who operate in the "own libs" gifting industry is to only engage with nervous college students or complete idiots. Sam Seder, while politically a milquetoast social democrat, is a well spoken adult who is quite good at concisely breaking down chud ideology into the bullshit it is. So Crowder can't speak to Seder and be exposed as a babbling idiot.

He wants "layups" which is what he called a debate with Klein, which prompted him to call in Seder.

Crowder is the guy from the "Change my mind about ___" memes, the original was about white privelege irrc. Crowder made his original fame and money by "debating" freshmen college students, just like Shapino. Unsurprisingly he "owned" them, as often these are freshmen not prepped for debate or particularily knowledgable about their claims and Crowder would just edit it for the best performances of him - occassionally he would start to get owned and he'd act much he did on the h3 podcast.

Seder is a political commentator that started out in 2010 with his show. He can be pretty lib, but if all libs were like him the world would be a lot more tolerable and better. He hosted Michael Brooks as well.

H3H3 is hosted by Ethan Klein, mostly about poking fun at internet weirdos. Hes more like an apolitical/lean lib guy.

Crowder has been ghosting debating Seder for a long time. The last couple times I remember was during politicon, Crowder was invited and so was Seder. Seder had a condition that he gets to debate Crowder, Crowder was told this and he stopped responding to organizers. He was also set to do this with H3H3 last week, Seder cut his show short and Crowder bowed out suddenly saying his wife had medical issues.

Then yesterday happened, Crowder went back onto H3H3 even though Ethan Klein pulled almost the same shit last time. Seders show kept running, because they recorded an episode and pretended it was live (like oceans fucking eleven). In response to this, Crowder cut to his dad and said some ANCIENT anti-semetism shit right away (something about how Seder didnt have a soul and his eyes looked like the velveteen rabbits).

Crowded persona and money is made off of seeming to be an invulnerable debate God who is super right wing/alt right. If he loses debates or loses his cool, he will lose followers and money. He knows this, hence why hes avoided it so hard.

Also, it's just funny to see a guy who is visibly strapped up get so scared that he got his Dad to come comfort him, all because Seder appeared to debate him.

The H3H3 guy is kind of like a much less bad Joe Rogan, still with some pretty hilariously bad takes. But he's basically a more consistent lib/progressive who self-admittedly doesn't have enough political knowledge to avoid believing stupid IDW talking points at times. I used to watch some of the funny videos years ago but haven't watched his recent stuff, besides the Crowder own.

All you need to know is that Crowder is an alt right little bitch and he got publically owned pretty hard by Sam Seder and it was very funny.

Seder has been trying to debate Crowder for quite a while but Crowder always gets cold feet. Seder has a surprise confrontation with Crowder on the h3h3 podcast and Crowder has a total meltdown which is fucking hilarious.

Crowder is the "1940's racism but for 12 year olds" and "I'll debate anyone" and "change my mind" guy.

Yelling at racist homophobic people for being bad doesn't work - they love it. The most effective attack against these IDW facts and logic dorks is literally "Debate Sam Seder you pussy"

Sam Seder is the socdem podcast host who is famous for calmly debating libertarians and effortlessly deconstructing their worldview as just accidental proto-feudalism. One example, he had an actual Libertarian Party 2016 presidential primary candidate on his show, and the guy absolutely lost his mind and hung up.

"Thank you for saying that, Sam, you're a horrible despicable person"

Worth noting that Crowder's a homo- and transphobic right-winger (who is arguably in the closet but that's another discussion) and he got punked, basically. Otherwise, you're correct.

With him being a public figure who is very publicly advancing homophobia and transphobia, I think his sexuality---which would otherwise absolutely be his personal business that we've no right to pry into---becomes by virtue of his public actions a matter of public interest. Open to critique on this.

i have nothing against other people exposing the hypocrisy and all, but personally i think "exposing a homophobe for being gay" can sometimes feel similar to "making fun of somebody for being gay (progressively)". Like think about those cringey reddit posts about how Putin is gay, it kinda reminds me of them. Once again, im not against the entire concept, but sometimes it give me bad vibes and i personally like to avoid it

I didn't know about this exchange but I'm almost certain Crowder is not straight. I don't know how to explain it exactly, but he does and says things that are just not things I would expect a straight person to do or say, as well as the way he reacts to certain situations. Again I don't know how to justify it but my gaydar is pretty decent and his behavior sometimes reminds me of when I was a kid and didn't want to admit to myself I wasn't straight due to internalized homophobia. This exchange seems to confirm my suspicion. It's just kinda sad when people find being not being straight so hard to handle that they decide to lash out against gay people.

Reading those Gutfield DMs like :heartbreaking: :heartbreaking: :heartbreaking:

Also compare this description of his exit from Fox News to him claiming that he stopped doing CPAC because "it sucked." He started into a complaint about how "they don't pay you" and I can't help but wonder if maybe he's one of the few who had trouble getting paid, like they just deliberately dragged ass on his check specifically.

they are the real “socialists” (they don’t even understand the basic definition of socialism) and why “communism is bad”.

Well, since you've made this comparison, I can't imagine Seder ever saying this lmao

Seder has said multiple times on his show that he isn't a socialist. He's a social democrat. His show is still one of the better outlets for keeping track of what's going on legislatively.
