John McAfee was a real g, by that I mean he raped several women, killed a man, scammed millions of people with his god awful virus software, and was a prominent member of the (libertarian) party. Was he killed like Jeffery Epstein, yes. John McAfee knew too much and they killed him for it. That does not mean he was a good person or his death is a tragedy. Sure it would of been nice if he talked and incriminated other people but what then after that? Personally it would of been good if he died after that.

^I like this analogy. The world is almost certainly a better place for him being gone...but on some level we also think it's just a little bit less fun.

McAfee never got suicided. he wasn't in the social rings of power at like any point in his life. he was a fucking crazy rich dude who did crazy rich dude shit. if he knew about like deep state pedo rings or something he'd absolutely have tweeted about it. they guy once went off about how fucking whales is epic, he had literally no filter.

he was 75 years old and facing 30 years in prison for tax evasion, he took the easy way out knowing he would die in prison

Thank you ffs. I am admittedly too online and just rife with pointless opinions, but this whole comparison of McAfee to Epstein feels like an Op to me. It makes Epsteins **very real ** global pedophilia ring fueled by international intelligence agencies sound insane, because McAfee was actually just insane.

Outside of bath-salt fueled twitter tirades - where/when did McAfee get too close to powerful circles? Why would he, a not-that-rich in the grand scheme of things guy (McAfee was acquired for $8 billion in 2010 - that's on the lower end of the types of acquisitions that happen almost daily in Silicon Valley) "know too much"? Enough to get him suicided randomly in Spain? Lol the dude literally was living out of Portland in 2013 - and Tennessee again in 2018. Why didn't they just off him there? Why wait until he was 75?

The dude was a Tj Maxx Elon Musk libertarian weirdo sex pest who fled the country because he didn't want to pay taxes. He then melted his brain with bath salts in Bolivia and murdered a person. He didn't pay taxes on his acquisition windfall and he killed himself literally not even 24 hours after the IRS got extradition clearance.

for sure. it really does make the Epstein stuff look stupid as that theory gets watered down by people grasping at straws over McAfee. Epstein had names, dates, years of info in his head, had been seen with all of these people within the top brass of power for years. has Trump ever met McAfee? has Prince Andrew ever met McAfee? did McAfee have a whole private island that was known to be a retreat of the rich and famous? no, he was a dude who tweeted about fucking whales

He had a strong "anti-authoritarian" Libertarian ideology. I bet he false flagged his own "fake suicide" to make his followers believe he got suicided.

You turned yourself from a guy who killed himself to avoid sentencing for tax evasion into a martyr who died for "the cause".

Having done some quick research its probable that the only shit he would actually be in trouble for was trying to be some kinda gangster in Belize with drug manufacturing and shit over there, as well as the tax evasion in the US that he, his wife and 4 campaign staffers got charged with. Now unless the libertarian party has started hiring assassins I think the US angle is out of the picture and I seriously doubt organised crime in Belize is that strong to kill him in a Spanish prison for shit that no one was actively pursuing him for.

Other than that he claimed that a cartel poisoned him but theres no evidence other than a few pictures of him inside a hospital theres no real evidence? Apparently his wifes former pimp also was attempting to kidnap him but I dont see an american pimp getting access to McAfee in a Spanish prison either.

also, just read over all of this and take a look at how absurd it sounds. the guy was fucking crazy and involved in weird shit. it's no wonder it caught up with him

I mean what caught up with him was the most mundane part, tax evasion and crypto fraud, all the really bizarre and super bad criminal shit was in other countries that if it was gonna catch up with him it was gonna catch up with him there. Genuinely the most logical conclusion, unless there is some reason he would be targeted by people actually powerful enough to kill him in jail that we dont know of, is he saw what kinda jailtime he was facing, realized he was gonna die in jail no matter what and pulled a final big stunt in the process.

yeah I solidly agree with you. like so many people are saying he knew too much, the fuck did he know? he never knew anybody in power and was some dudes rock boomer acting like an 80s action movie star in his own head with drugs, prostitutes, and fraud. if you're 75 and facing 30 years, why would you want to keep living like you are going to die in that cell and you know it, why face that torment

I flat out don't think he was epsteined, I don't think he particularly knew anything about anyone powerful enough to get him in jail in a situation like this. The US was just approved to extradite him so its fucking dogshit stupid for them to have touched him and the charges were all related to either tax evasion or crypto fraud.

The only other thing we actually know he was in trouble for was the suspicion of being associated with the murder, but that was 7 years ago and not something the US seemed interested in, whoever decided to let him walk around and sit in jails for 7 years holding on to some grand murder secret is a fucking idiot if there actually is such a conspiracy.

The only real reason to suspect him of not having killed himself is him making publicity statements for years about this bullshit even when there was nothing to suggest he was ever in danger of being killed, the guy is a famous glory hound who got his kicks from making outrageous statements so everyone kept their attention on him, I dont see any reason to think this isnt just the climax of that shit where he leaves a dumb mystery for internet idiots to obsess over for years as a final joke.

There is literally no evidence or even any decent indication that he was killed. He wasn't even that close to anyone super important. Dude was depressed af in jail for 8 months and then he was gonna be extradited to the US so that he could spend the rest of his life in prison. I really don't understand why people say he was killed, literally the only indication is that he tweeted some weird shit months ago about how someone would want to kill him or whatever, but that kind of weird nonsense is typical of him. McAffee was some weirdo who had been arrested a bunch of times before and who has been on the run for the last many years. No one cared that much about him to begin with. People and especially old rich people kill themselves to avoid sentences, it happens. This is not like Epstein.

I believe that John McAfee was a real demon in the flesh. Not the pure evil kind, but the trickster pretty evil kind.

My favorite McAfee myth is when he knew local police were going to be raiding his compound, so in a daring feat, he loaded a bunch of computers with spyware and "donated" them to the police as a false act of good faith. Being a fairly impoverished area, the police used them. McAfee now was able to know their planned raids in advance and was able to escape prior to the raid on multiple occasions.

McAfee was a rapist, a murderer, but he also made imaginary Hollywood scenarios his real life and its hard not to find that extremely interesting and worthy of some kind of respect. Not a respect for the person he was but a respect for the lengths he went to.

We live in an absurd world and personally I can only get by every day by appreciating the absurdity of it all. McAfee was a chaotic presence that although evil, reminded me the world can just be wild sometimes without real reason behind it.

Basically, I'll miss the stories, not the man.

Sure, but on the bright side, he was a good poster. It's impossible to know, therefore, wether he was a good or a bad person.

Also no, he was not Epsteined.

Good post. Epstein was also a really bad person and the way the online left treats him is kinda gross. And yes, I get no one genuinely mourns these guys and it's all irony, but idk maybe we could all do with a little less irony in our lives, you know.
