And even then it was only at the beginning of the final music number.
I went to a screening of Cats around 9 or 10pm on 12/31/19 with a recently-sober friend of mine. (I only mention this to explain why we were stone cold sober; everyone else at the screening was plastered.) Every time someone walked out, the remainder applauded and wished them a happy new year. One exceptionally drunk guy stood up and asked the rest of us "what the fuck is a genical cat" and got audibly upset whenever Judi Dench showed up onscreen ("she's the worst one!"). 10/10 moviegoing experience
It was just supremely boring and turned me off ferrel from then lol. We walked out pretty quickly, quick enough to get a refund. As such, I can't say I've actually seen the film
I've never come across anyone with such strong feelings towards Elf haha
I'm personally Elf neutral
Elf cytube party when
I'm probably elf ambivalent, but Ferrell grinds my gears so bad lol
idk I think he needs some help standing up to his landlord: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIdxVR_7ikg
edit to add: I'm sure he sucks in other ways, lol, but I thought this was kinda funny when I was a child
edit again to say: the more I think about this and the way it trivializes real class conflict, the more I think this is actually an example of will ferrel sucking :(
i walked out on spider-man 3
i say walked out but what i mean is my uncle took me out because it scared me and i wouldn't stop crying. i was like 5 lol
Unless I'm sick or forced to leave, I won't.
'Late Night' was fucking awful film, a fire alarm accidentally went off, we left and we had the opportunity to go back in, and we decided 'fuck it' and just left. Absolute peak Lib (to the point where it might have been a conservative psy-op to delegitimise idpol)
Cats was the last movie I saw in theaters before the pandemic. Most of the theater walked out but I couldn't look away.
I have never walked out on a movie and thats not something I should be proud of.
The pet cemetary remake suuuuuuuuuucked
One time a friend and I arrived at a theater and the projector was broken for the film we wanted to see (just looked it up and it was most likely Immortals).
Jack and Jill was the only other movie starting at the same time so we got free tickets for it. We walked out after a few minutes and saw Tower Heist instead. That's also a bad movie, but it's my kind of bad movie. When Adam Sandler doesn't try it is just unbearable for me.
