Fun fact, the Green Party's most loyal base of support is... indigenous people! Damned privileged indigenous people, not voting for Democrats to run them off their land nicely.

Such lofty, pie in the sky principles as "genocide is bad" and "air should be breathable". Smh us toxic Bernie bros are the real menace.

I’ve had a shitlib I know irl try to chastise me for the same thing despite knowing I had to flee my own home to avoid bigotry and systemic violence. This particular person also confided in me that they’re scared of black People and “jealous of the struggle I’ve had in my life.” Absolutely beyond parody.

I think it’s because they had a very comfortable upbringing and thought going through hardship would somehow give them the strength/motivation/discipline to actually try like in movies.

Yeah, same here. It’s taken a lot of constant work and relapse to get myself into a relatively healthy situation and it’s pretty obvious I feel. I really was blown away they would even admit that to me.

Just FYI That tweet is from 2016 and is being recirculated on leftist site due to the election, the author does not condone those views about the current candidate.

Hit the phones, Molly, 43% of eligible voters didn't turn out in 2016. Bernie had the biggest boots on the ground movement but you made it clear they aren't wanted in the party, so get recruiting

The poorer and more marginalized you are, the less likely you are to vote. I don’t know libs who peddle this stuff know that, I just don’t know how they square it.

I still think about that time Trump didn't want the PR nightmare of bombing some dumbass shit in the middle east and Bolton threw a fit about it in the book. Not that he's not bombing shit, mind you. The entire system is super into bombing shit is what I'm trying to say. It seems like voting makes about as much difference in this as it did naming that one ship Boaty McBoatFace
