Tens of thousands of cases with delta in america

Oh sweaty, that was last week's numbers. We're way over 100k by now.

FFS, I know three people who have Delta already. All of them failed to vax up.

    China: no u

    US: :rage-cry:

I just watched Wolf Warrior 2 and now I'm imagining Chen Weihua breaking through a window, catching a shard of glass in mid-air and slicing open someone's throat with it.

The difference in production quality between Wolf Warrior 2, Operation Red Sea, and The Eight Hundred is frankly astonishing, especially given that it represents only a few years of development.

The best bit if someone tosses out "you know Covid was made in a lab, right?" is to agree and carry on the conversation as if they were talking about a U.S. lab.

between this timeline of events and the shooting that occurred at Fort Detrick, this thing just keeps getting more plausible:

    1. Just before the CDC shut-down of Fort Detrick, a petition by local residents was passed to the White House asking for an investigation into an outbreak of flu-like symptoms around the Fort Detrick area in Maryland USA.

    2. A few months after the CDC shut-down of Fort Detrick, an international world pandemic computer simulation event was hosted in Manhattan with leading international figures attending.

    3. A short while after that, the world military games was held in Wuhan, with US military competing; some from around the Fort Detrick area.

    4. A short while after that, the novel virus outbreak in Wuhan was announced.

to top it all off, the place is literally called Fort 'De Trick', like ... c'mon man

I'm with you all on the Ft Detrick thing but I think the vaping thing was legit. People cutting THC distillate with cheaply sourced oil. The reason it stopped was because people stopped doing it. Also could have been a PR limited hangout as there was/is a lot of problems with using cheap metals and plastics in cartridges causing heavy metal poisoning or other issues. There was a big outbreak of lead contamination in cheap vape carts.

If you're gonna vape folks make sure you get really good carts and pure fluid/distillate. Don't buy if they don't have a third party independent lab test for the product.

I would add that I think Havana Syndrome is connected to covid somehow given its timeline. Either a parallel operation to some mutual end or directly part of it.

Wuhan, with US military competing; some from around the Fort Detrick area.

      Which ones?

Also you left out a crucial part of the Detrick shutdown.

It was “abruptly shut down following serious safety violations, in particular relating to the disposal of dangerous materials

    "Outlandish" :data-laughing:

Please offhandedly tell me again how much the US government believes in the lab leak theory despite there being no evidence supporting it.

Also they act like the sky is falling in China over Delta causing a whopping 500 infections, lmaooooooo

I mean the growth is exponential in China at the moment. They went from 23 to 500 cases in a week. I just fear that current containment measures are not enough and China will become another Vietnam with regards to Covid. The Delta, iota and lambda variants of Covid are serious. Obviously they're handling the situation better than anyone else atm, but yeah

A lot of people see cases go from 500 to 25,000 and think exponential growth. But they don't understand cases going from 10 to 500 is the same growth curve.

Deelta has also hammered countries that did very well with previous variants like Vietnam.

China is obligated to interrupt their larger economic project and respond aggressively to corona, while the US has no public health obligations at all. I'm starting to wonder if, regardless of covid's origin, the US is prolonging the pandemic as a means to attack China.

    Am I crazy?

Of course, but I'm imagining the hope is to exploit short-term weaknesses, like what we see happening in Cuba. At this point it seems like corona creates no immediate cost for the ruling class, and they're doomed to failure in the long-term anyway. More likely, I'm actually attributing too much long-term thinking to the capitalists. They probably don't want to pay for a pandemic response now and have no long-term strategy at all.

I also feel like it's the state's job to do the long-term planning, because individual capitalists can't do that kind of cooperating while also competing with each other. This just adds to the plausibility of the US creating covid, which isn't a leap I'm ready to take yet. I feel like there's a lot to think over, and none of it is good.

honestly wouldn't put it past the CIA and Hillary Clinton to create the virus with the goal of blaming China

Chinese infection rate is up 500%!

    America's infection rate merely doubled.
