            Wait wait wait

Dead people can’t work service jobs for pathetic wages?

Fuck we fucked up everyone! We should’ve taken care of this in the beginning! :porky-scared:

I’m of the opinion that the service jobs are more about subjecting workers to performative cruelty than profit.

So :porky-happy: can abide some lost profits (and I’ve read that many of these companies aren’t losing money, they’re just making less than before). Because the message it sends to the worker is valuable: “your life means so little that even if a million of you die, you won’t see better wages or conditions. We will exploit your new poverty now — that’s the game.”

No, Liberals aren't allowed to connect the dots like that. Every individual problem exists in a vacuum. There is no such thing as cause and effect, much less repercussions for letting a million people die.

This shit is wild to me. It seems so alien for people to have such a strong reaction to something so mild.

Government kills a million people? That's fine, that's what it's supposed to do.

Government tries to actually improve people's lives in the most bare-basic self-preservation sense? LITERALLY TYRANNY.

We literally live in bizarro world. A lot of the concerns i hear from people come down to being distrustful of the govt actually helping people. “When do you ever see the govt giving something away for free?! There must be an ulterior motive!”

It is. It only covers 100 million, a third of the US population. Expand it Joey

Thanks for providing what I'm sure is good and correct tactical advice to the Democratic president, senior editor at a libertarian outlet.

Well it's likely to lose the Dems the house, senate and the presidency, get turned over by the supreme court and fuel an even more extreme divide in the working class.
