I got a tiny taste of Anarchism in World History when we discussed the onset of WW1.
But it mostly boiled down to "People hated government because it was too big".
Not coincidentally, this is the predominant politically acceptable Murray-Rothbard-flavor of Anarchism we call Anarcho-Capitalism.
Mad Max is anarchy because it's crazy! Look at how crazy it is!
Anarchy is when you have motorcycles and leather daddies.
The more motorcycles and leather daddies, the more Anarchist it is.
The power is derived from wealth
Huh wonder what economic system consistently produces a small, super-wealthy elite?

Says here it's Aristocracy, Military Junta, and Communism.
Because they know they're spewing bullshit capitalist propaganda and they don't have any answer so they must pretend your comment was insignificant so as not to draw more attention to the fact that what they are trying to push is inconsistent, dishonest, and incoherent.
For a lot of teachers, if a supervisor sees them engaging with that, they'll get fired or reprimanded for "going off curriculum".
I always learned the most from my teachers after class and in private conversations. Our school system is superficial and childish. Most teachers are pretty smart, but aren't allowed to teach anything but the book.
The most useful part of having a graduate business degree is you can clown on chuds who pull out "look, I majored in economics, so..."
Pulling out "I have two business degrees" is occasionally fun with the right audience. No MBA tho, just a Master of Accountancy.
I did try EVE Online for a month or two and then it felt way too much like work.
I've heard people rave about EVE, but I'm pretty sure they get more excited at the new Excel release than the next game patch.
My whiplash reading this post: “Well yea, current Russia is an oligarchy what’s the iss—Communist Totalitarianism?!?!?!”
Well sweaty, didn't you know that Communism is when you are Russian and the more Russian you are the more Communist you are? Checkmate.
what’s the iss—Communist Totalitarianism?!
A dictatorship of the proletariat has dictatorship RIGHT IN THE NAME. So of course it's totalitarian.
Stalin and Mao and all the other Communists ruled with an Iron Fist. Everyone hated them. Nobody liked them. And the only reason they were able to control their respective countries is because nobody else in the country except them and a few close friends had any guns. It's just like in Animal Farm, see? Or Atlas Shrugged, which is another historical book I read about Chile.
I mean I think it says a lot that right after Stalin and Mao died, Communism ended.
This is just blatant propaganda. I would just post agit prop in class.
Have you pointed out that calling them National Socialists is both ahistorical and taking Nazi propaganda at face value?
According to this, the US is an aristocracy, which is probably a mistake by the teacher
Oh boy this is a chance to post one of my favorite quotes from First Strike by Damien Sojoyner:
"The key component of public education is its ability to transmit state sanctioned ideology to it's subjects"
Socialism is when the government does bad stuff.
Capitalism is when the government lets the free market work and everyone becomes rich.
Right now, the problem with America is that it's too Socialist. Once we get rid of the Socialism, everyone will be rich, like in Singapore or Germany or Florida.
See, you need to add the word 'representatives' behind 'few', then everything's bueno
ap econ is garbage too. they unironically teach the laffer curve as fact and spout bullshit about the minimum wage
What is a critique of trotzkists or the man itself? For the former the cultish separatism velocity, but the latter?
