Excited for a bright new future of Neoliberal astroturfed third party groups competing for your vote alongside openly militant fascists.

The old gaurd is entrenched. And the new gaurd does not exist.

The olds will not help us. we need to help our selves and realize that it's up to us to push them from power and to stop listening to them. The youth need to start leading.

Because nothing will happen. Kids have their temper tantrums, but in 9 months they'll bring out the vote face TikToks and Democrats will gain 2-3 Senate seats and probably 10 House seats. Sit back baby, it's Joe time :biden:

They'll just shamble Trump back out on stage and harp on us how this is, yet again, the most important election in our lifetimes yada yada.

may not turn out in 2022 the same way they did in 2020

I wonder why that is? Could it be the clockwork cycle of democrats promising shit, pretending they only promised a quarter of that after being elected and then not even trying to accomplish that?

Zoomers have also had their brains microwaved by screens since infancy (except for the oldest of them). They are very likely to reject political parties like this and then vote in Jake Paul or some shit.

They will bring out the progressives and it will be same old circus again. "Look we are making a difference. :so-true: "

"It's not the same under President Biden. These kids are no longer in cages. They are in licensed influx facilities." "I might no longer talk about the bad stuffs happening on our border or to the protestors from last year but I have ample time to talk about how the evil authoritarian tankies are denying freedom to their citizens in Cuba and China." And some folks wonder why nearly everyone on this site hates them.

I feel like it has been longer than that. Didn’t Hunter S Thompson complain about the same thing in the 70s?

Yup. Fear and loathing in '68

The difference is experiencing it first hand versus reading about it. It's dumb but experience first hand has more impact
