Incredibly racist and also wrong. There was a story on weibo recently of some quarantine staff killing a pet dog and people were outraged, and the worker in question was immediately removed from their job. Chinese people care just as much as anyone else about their pets being mistreated.

Guarantee this person says systemic police brutality is just bad apples but a single animal abuser in China is somehow a condemnation of an entire people

With the amount of racism they're showing I'd expect them to think police brutality is a good thing honestly

Sinophobic hate speech is just accepted now. Now and then a few liberals nominally claim to be against Asian hate but then go right back to demonizing China.

You can now long for the days of the Eight Nation Alliance in public.

Insane, rabid, bloodthirsty warmongering bastards who desperately need to be humbled.

America deserves a century of humiliation.

:yea: Mainstream media opinion on China ranges from completely deranged conspiracies to extreme concern, but redditors will still claim the Chinese are secretly influencing the discourse. Straight from the fascist playbook.

Liberals pretty much believe that "racism" only applies to individuals, present in the United States. Decrying any non-English speaking country as barbaric savages who don't share our "democratic values" is simple facts my friend.

But see, because of the size and shape of their brainpan, asians are incapable of pack-bonding with other social animals.

:LIB: You see with Face Culture, it's impossible for any Chinese person to actually have a friend. They only have superiors and inferiors, which is why they can't understand the American concept of "Man's Best Friend." They don't actually have the word for it.

    slaughtering household pets

A completely arbitrary and meaningless distinction from the billions of sentient creatures Americans slaughter for their food. Creatures that are just as intelligent and capable of feeling pain as those "household pets"

Is this just very thinly veiled "Chinese people eat dogs" racism, but pretending it's concern over the government?

Lol, they're not even pretending it's the government. They're flat out saying Russians and Chinese people lack empathy.

My dad likes to describe how the cats react to having their skin peeled off while alive. He's Gen X, they like to be shocking.

I think thats less of a gen X thing and more of a "don't check under your floorboards" thing. Or the space between your walls. Or between your ceiling and your roof.

It's less about actual concern for animals and more about providing an ultra-thin veil for their rabid genocidal foaming-at-the-mouth racism.

Abuses of power are so flagrant in the dystopian police state of America China that even the government couldn't hide that police shootings of family dogs have become an epidemic. What now, Tankies???

I've heard that "lives are cheap in China" thing before, alwaysfrom some white dude (no offense) who has no connection with the country or maybe lived there for a few years and who now thinks he's an expert on all things oriental.

Also they never seem to mention that the government is genuinely more popular and seen as more democratic than the U.S.

They really just make up anything don't they? I could understand the :LIB: take that "Putin is basically the head gangster of Russia", but how do you begin to think the CCP is "an illegal, kleptocrokit, crime family" and actually type that out? Liberals just try to sound smart by adding as many adjectives they can to something.
