"You posture until they let you posture and then you posture some more!" Seems shitty. If my kids are ever going to posture it's going to be because they're countering an enemy stand user.

Not-so-subtle implication that gun-clutching yokels don’t value literacy. Cool, doc

Of course they do, that's why I want them to fight against the current system so they obliterate each other while the rest of the world can breath and organize military against the Great Satan to be ready for when whatever flavor of fascist win the civil war.

Then after the fascist civil war, with the empire in total shambles, and a lot less fascists alive, you might have a chance. In the meantime, stay safe and don't make the fascist unite against you.

I mean kids obviously should not be using guns, or any weapons really, but this just stinks.

It's peak lib smug self righteousness

It’s definitely a cultural thing. If we lived in a city the last thing I’d want is my 5 year old learning to shoot. The relationship that city folks tend to have with guns is real different. But yeah I mean my dad hunted for sustenance for years. I’m vegan now but we probably ate way less meat and killed significantly more humanely than the average American family during that time

I think in very controlled conditions the older kids could be shooting BB guns. I started around then. Like laying down, loading the gun, getting some help cocking it, shooting, unloading, then standing up

my dad got me an airsoft gun back when he first started teaching me to use one. He'd been taking me on hunting trips since before I could form memories and every time he'd ask me what the basic rules are, so he used the airsoft gun as a sort of test to see if I would follow them. I was probably 6 or so at that point and to this day I reflexively handle any vaguely gun shaped object pretty much like a real one. Found myself with my finger off the trigger of a banana once

edit: I should clarify i wasn't allowed to shoot a real one until I was 13, he just used the airsoft gun to teach me basic safety stuff like finger off the trigger, don't point it at anything you're not ready to destroy, know what's behind your target, etc.

“Alright kids, if you don’t hold up these dusty old books from our abandoned book shelf Santa’s not bringing you any real presents for Christmas. Now look into the camera and smile! Every tooth I don’t see is one less present!”

So she's running against Nancy Mace? I see this maybe flying in downtown Charleston, but literally nowhere else in her district.
