The word "terrorist" seems to be defined as "whoever the hell we say is one".

Remember that video of guys in a c130 joking about how people's bodies looked as they literally exploded parents in front of their children then exploded the children because they thought a reporter's camera was a gun?

Each president kills thousands of civilians so maybe we should drone the president

"Go ahead and read that back again, but slower this time."

To be clear, this person is arguing that drone strikes are good, because the threat of drone strikes, made apparent by drone strikes on civilians, will scare people into acquiescence. In other words... terrorism.

It's amazing how every single part of what he says is wrong. The low "civilian casualty rate" numbers come from just assuming that anyone killed who could conceivably at some point pick up a gun was an "enemy combatant," and far from discouraging insurgent militancy a campaign of random airstrike terror bombings served primarily to give everyone a personal motive for revenge and made the very idea of a life without violence an idle fantasy. Like you grow up with the constant threat of being murdered from the sky without warning for no reason, people you know and care about get murdered from the sky for no reason, the only future you can see for yourself and any kids you may have is living in permanent terror of random death, you're not going to care if fighting back increases your odds of dying because as far you're concerned you're liable to be murdered anyways, and you're outraged at the hell that has been forced upon you.

Each neoliberal themselves brutalizes or kills 300-400 civilians on average and that's the lowest estimate from a reputable source.

Because they decided to declare that every dead male that was older than 13 or so was a potential combatant, so they're terrorists and not civilians

Mashing 76% of his typing fingers with a meat mallet, while insisting they are terrorist fingers and that this will encourage the rest of the hand to behave itself.

    ROFL!!:

American drones strikes may have killed as many as 40 Yemeni civilians over the past year, the UN reported on Monday, offering a tally of the human cost of the long-running US campaign against al Qaeda in Yemen, which has continued amid the chaos of country's current war.

Al Qaeda, which has capitalized on the ensuing chaos to capture some territory, claimed responsibility for attacks that killed 24 civilians — fewer non-combatants than the UN says may have been killed by the American drone program.

What you forget is that Yemen is a small country, the US is huge in comparison! /s

Yes, but without the drone strikes, tens of thousands of Yemenis could have been killed or brutalized by the 40 civilians the US killed. These things are complicated.
