As we know, libs refuse to believe their system does not work. However, they also believe that it shouldn't be possible to elect someone like Trump in this system. They don't know how to reconcile this contradiction.

Last two elections there was the constant blaming of "Bernie bros" until Biden finally won. Bernie is fully behind Biden now so I don't think they'll try this angle. There was the whole Mueller thing (I still don't know what even came out of that??) and the media constantly reporting that THIS TIME Trump will finally go down, though this reporting is still going on. They had the Women's March which was the closest thing to praxis but it was clearly a waste of time with no plan to actually get anything done. There was the sudden need to blame Russia for election interference and general racism against Russians which is still ongoing. Does anyone remember Cambridge Analytica?

At the moment I'm seeing libs asking everyone to excuse supporting genocide because we need to keep the cheeto out of the White House. But I feel like their brains are going to break when the cheeto does get back in the White House.

They're going to blame Muslims and young people for caring about genocide. They're also going to continue blaming Latinos for not being as liberal as they think they should be. Then they're going to cheer for bad things to happen to Muslims and Latinos saying those groups brought it on themselves (young ppl too) In short the dems are going to become the bush era Republicans (they already are)

That is bang on right there.

They're also going to continue blaming Latinos for not being as liberal as they think they should be

Dems have been complaining about this for at least 20 years at this point. Dems feel so entitled to their votes and are so frustrated that an incredibly diverse grouping (from different countries, different histories, different class backgrounds, etc) don't all vote the same way

How funny would it be if a lib goes full yamagami and the-doohickey trump-anguish

The absolute chaos it would cause would be unmatched.

They will blame Hamas and Hexbear and Putler (again) and Cornel West and Sanders (still somehow) and Jill Stein (always) and the millennials and the deplorables (meaning the working class, even though it’s the petite bourgeoisie who are really Trump’s base).

They’ll do anything but look in the mirror. It’s really sad, because when the Republicans lost in 2008, I remember that the their political class did a lot of soul searching, which the Democrats seem to be incapable of.

Libs can't do that. The dems and their leadership don't care about being in power, so they won't analyze their defeats. But libs can't do that at all. Libs whole conception of themselves and politics is that they are the good people, and they vote blue, and doing so affirms that they are good and absolves all of their guilt for being a comfortable PMC in an cruel empire. That is the benefit they get from viting blue.

Since they are the good people, if they fail, its because all of the ungrateful, dumb people who's vites they feel entitled to messed it up. Because their party or platform ir whatever can't be wrong in their minds, because they are definitionally "good"

I don’t recall what they publicly came up with, but I suspect that privately they decided to redouble their antidemocratic/extralegal efforts, knowing that winning fair & square was only going to keep getting harder. So gerrymandering, voter ID requirements, undermining polling stations, judicial appointments, etc.

Am I the only one who feel like the libs are becoming more comfortable with their masks off since Ukraine?

They may have been primed since Russiagate, but I definitely noticed that Ukraine has given them the permission to go mask off with their repressed racism and once they have tasted the euphoria of letting loose all kind of racist remarks against the Russians, the inhibition against other ethnicities (especially Bad People from Bad Countries who all happen to be the enemies of the US) is now also being lifted, and there is no going back from here. You cannot put the lid back on anymore, I feel.

Yeah, I'm going to guess they'll go back to blaming all of America's problems on him rather than seeing him as a symptom of the system. Basically a lot of focusing on him being populist and SNL skits calling him a mango or some shit.

And like you said they'll blame leftists for not voting for Biden losing instead of it being their own damn fault for pushing a candidate that is too far right and unpopular.

This is probably what's going to happen. Instead of blaming Bernie and 'Bernie Bros', they'll blame the Pro-Palestinian Tankies for not voting for Biden apparently due to some weird ethical stance about genocide or whatever.

Bingo. It's going to be college students and other people on the "radical left" who support Hamas and encouraged everyone not to vote. You can already see this starting.

Lol I was talking about this with my partner and idk I guess we’ll see but tbh, I expect trump is gonna win by a large enough margin that the 0.05847% of tankies in America wouldnt be enough to have swung the election one way or another even if we all did decide to go vote biden

I unironically believe we are going to see a lot of full-on mask off racism to pretty much every POC group that didn't vote hard enough, or some slight deviation from the norm. If we see group X vote slightly differently and that slight difference can be used to explain why someone lost, they start saying racist words we have heard since like the 18th century.

It will be a weird blend of straight up racism and victim blaming as well and that weird sort of bold self-congratulating libs love. They will be jerks and feel good about it.

It doesn’t even have to make a difference! Remember 2016, when Dems blamed Jill Stein voters for Hilldawg’s loss? Even if every single Green Party vote had gone to the Dems instead, the electoral result would have been the exact same, most Green Party votes coming from blue states anyway. Nevertheless, libs blamed the 2016 loss squarely on Stein and the Fraternal Order of Bernard Brethren.

Horseshit theory and "tankies" will be Rachel Madow's new talking points. The giant inflatable baby Trump thing is going to be brought back out and paraded around the national mall by a bunch of Warren and Harris staffers wearing pussy hats. Trump's cognitive decline that they've kept mostly under wraps is going to be on center stage and news outlets will happily do a segment on it every hour - libs will suddenly care about mental acuity.

Trump will send the US military to join in on all the genocidal fun, and libs will suddenly be pro Palestinian because orange man bad.

Rachel Maddow says "You know how politics left to right is thought of as a line? But what if it's not?" And then she verbally shitposts for at least five minutes because that's how she rolls to tease her audience. Then she says "So - if it's not a line? What is it?..." Horseshoe theory will go mainstream and be discussed as if it's a real thing on MSNBC in the NYT, etc.

There could be lib Qanon. Libanon? Leftists, Hamas, Iran, Russia, Hezbollah, anti-Semites, etc are in league to destroy Israel and weaken America.
