    As a former theatre kid who uses that ability to memorize lines and speak with an authoritative voice to radicalize libs I find this post to be both wrong and bad.

    This YouTuber is more of a musician than a theater kid.

    If you watch any of her videos, she does a really in depth analysis on the musical elements of the artist she’s morphing the song to suit and explains how she’s tweaking parts of the original song to match the new style.

    She then records all the instruments and vocals and creates the beat/instrumental and finally shows the finished product.

    This is not the same thing as white people doing acoustic covers of rap songs. Her videos are usually just silly experiments and I don’t think she ever thinks she made the song better.

    I haven’t seen this particular video so maybe she’s changed, but her video turning Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy into a Meghan Trainor song was cool.

      Theatre hate is w/e, but we do absolutely need a complete and total shut down of college a capella groups until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on.

    Okay you're valid, but the average theatre kid lowkey hates glee, it gave us a bad reputation and moreover fucking massacred a load of classics from some damn fine musicals.

    Like I'm not saying you shouldn't hate theatre kids for other reasons, but we don't claim this shit.
