The stupid motherfucker that tried to evict me went so far as to illegally record me through my bedroom door. I confronted him with the threat of literal prison time (something I did not want to do and would not have gone through with) an he was literally trembling before me. It's done, it is finally over and in the process I get a friend a place to live.

tenant actually. The property manager is a comrade believe it or not.

I even tried to help this kid. I advised him and guided him through a student union dispute. And he still tried to ruin my fuckin life.

Well guess what motherfucker I am not one with whom you want to fuck.

wait what? (I am not caught up with the details of this story. You don't have to recount them all, I'll probably go read them all later. Congrats on your win though)

He's Korean but his whole intent here is to become a techbro exploiter himself.

That's not comprador, he's just a 'temporarily embarrassed millionaire' who likely comes from Occupied Korea...

Edit: Now, if he rose to the ranks of actually being able to aid in abetting and profitting in the unequal exchange (exploitation) of South Korea, which we call globalization, extracting every little nook and cranny of the nation's labor and commodities gratis without fair compensation and benefits... then we could call him comprador...

Maybe if he ALSO rose up to be a finance techbro venture capitalist, he'd be a true comprador... a bastard that sold his country in the very literal sense of the word...

White people on this site say comprador because they don’t feel comfortable saying coon or Uncle Tom lmaoooooo . You cant be a comprador in America that’s not what that word means. Edit. Not saying they should go around saying coon or Uncle Tom. Those are words for someone betraying their own community. But there’s this weird idea that all people of color have this duty to the (white) working class in a way that white people don’t it’s weird. its weird that hexbears feel the need to invent an insult for people of color, most of the time someone says comprador on hexbear they just mean "poc that I don't like or is reactionary".

I just thought it meant class collaborator. I would've called him comprador in this case if he was white too.

I would love to know what to use in its place though and I meant it in no such way as you described which is definitely not cool.

Bootlicker? And yeah no worries I think Hexbear has like twisted the word so far from it’s original meaning it’s a site wide problem.

            Then call them western worshippers...

Comprador indicates capitalist status of that being described as such...

Nice. I actually recently won a case against a former employer who laid me off but then tried to claim I quit to deny me unemployment. Got a nice 2k check in the mail yesterday. Also the fucker is getting sued for not paying his marketing team commission lol.

When your landlord goes to prison they don't just hand over the property to you, more than likely you'll get another shittier landlord that will price you out of your home if they can't evict you because they don't want "problem tenants."

the maoist uprising against the landlords was the largest and most comprehensive proletarian revolution in history, and led to almost totally-equal redistribution of land among the peasantry
