Redditors really do love saying things that 99% of redditors agree with and acting like they're being really brave for saying it.

What would happen if capital succeeded in smashing the Republic of Soviets? There would set in an era of the blackest reaction in all the capitalist and colonial countries, the working class and the oppressed peoples would be seized by the throat, the positions of international communism would be lost.

      deeper-sadness

Liberals always say communist ideology itself killed people, but when they talk about fascists they tend to place the blame on one or two specific people. Same thing when capitalism does inevitably something awful, it's always one or two specific people doing it wrong.

Liberals conceive of communism as a magical hypnosis ray or something

And When capitalist nations fail or result in the deaths of millions, the liberals put the blame blame on a secret cabal of leftists that caused it, or just a few bad individual apples. Famine in capitalist nations is always attributed to the individuals, who in their eyes are just lazy.

      They're disgusting

I stole this and put it on Reddit and posted it on the memes page. I understand if you will want to exert vengeance to me due to that transgression some day.

No lol. Circlejerk subs may start off as satire or whatever, but it eventually becomes a place to contain shitposts away from its primary community.

Is it hyperbolic to say capitalism is responsible for the deaths of most people over the last 100 years?

I don't think it is, and I'm not even talking about malaria, just general human suffering and excess mortality. I mean, the decline of life expectancy of post Soviet collapse alone...

"Tsk tsk Soviet Union. How dare you be a bad Russian authoritarian regime? Why can't you be more like the good German authoritarian regime?"
