    I've been saying this for a while. Qanon is an op designed to pull everything "conspiratorial" together, and then discredit it. It is used to mobilize brownshirts just as much as it's used to muddy the waters. Alex Jones has been doing it for ever. His "gay frogs" thing had actual science behind it, but he attached himself to it thus discrediting any discussion of it. IIRC there was some factory that was dumping waste in the river that was messing with the reproductive cycles of fish and amphibians. But, all everyone remembers is the gay frogs.

    Chuds see the cracks. They see something is wrong. And qanon is there to melt their brains before they find Marx.

      The chemicals actually change the sex of the frogs (not their sexuality).

      As the chapo boys said on an episode, "which is the crazier conspiracy: the idea that companies are polluting our water, or the notion that Iran is a threat to Americans' safety?"

      Alex Jones is The market exploiting the weaknesses in its own governing body for profit. Since theses are for-profit ventures they will still always side with the capitalist doctrine that birthed itself. Alex Jones is at the point where the head of the oroborus eats its tail. Idk whether he is the head or the tail though.

      Anyways, the other factor is the Republican Party which since its inception has been the party of rural popular dissention since the Irish first politically kicked the Anglos out of NYC.

        those people will always be worth an attempt at reaching, at least. the fact that they care enough about human lives to have it factor into their worldview at all makes them better than the vast majority of people in the u.s.

        and it is really a huge missed opportunity for the Left because so many of them are so close to getting it. Their audience are prime to be radicalized.

        I know people hate Maupin here, but he has repeatedly stressed this exact point, and it's why he goes with the "patsoc" thing

    no, it's simple. this is the right being contrarian because biden is in power. they've been doing it for weeks.

    It's not a conspiracy. The Republicans are the opposition party now, so they are looking to grab any popular position that is opposed to the democrat consensus. Agitating for intervention in Ukraine is mostly a democrat thing now. Remember, that the democratic party welcomed the warhawk neocons with open arms during the trump administration, as part of their "beat Trump, whatever the cost" strategy.

    And so, MTG is now anti-war. I'm sure she would love to nuke Beijing tho

      Yeah, no shit everything about this is messing with my head.

      It's fine, I will agree with dangerous idiots when they are against horrific things when no-one else is willing to aknowledge them.

        What sucks is that this is going to make leftists get lumped in with chuds real fast with the libs. Some serious bad times are coming up.

          I really don't care, just stand for what's right no matter what. If someone has such a baby brain they think if Trump says something like "drinking enough water is good for your health", then let libs dehydrate themselves to death.

    We're gonna get called Chuds, aren't we?

    EDIT: I mean, seeing MTG and Fucker use Leftist/Anti-Imperialist talking points just to score brownie point against the pro-war Libs. All it's gonna do is discredit us and lump us in with the Chuds, right?

      according to libs:

      tankies = fascist

      chud = fascist

      so therefore

      MTG = tankie

      no i will not step away from the lathe

        EDIT: Actually, a thought occurred to me. After decades of Chuds calling Libs "commies" and "pinkos", the Right using Leftist talking points could make it so where Libs start calling Chuds the commies and the pinkos and saying that Conservatives are "Un-American" for not supporting the freedom of, in this case, Ukraine.

        Don't take this away from me. Seeing that shit from MTG was de-moralizing :doomjak:

    Zelensky is a puppet with no real power. He just does what his fascist handlers tell him to do, lest he be shot by them. My gosh, such courage.

    The right manages antiwar sentiment in America by selectively opposing certain interventions. While liberals have never seen a war they didn't like, conservatives are using this situation to take potshots at biden, probably hoping we would focus on china

      The Republican electoral strategy relies on grifting Libertarian anti-interventionists (wars cost money and taxes are evil!) into believing that they won't just keep being neocons. All the Democrats need to do is cry about the existential crisis of liberal democracy.
