... what? Why is wrong to highlight precedence? This is how the court often argues in favor of someone's innocence or guilt, by looking at the precedence. If defendant A was found not guilty 10 years ago for a crime, and no law has been modified, then defendant B should also be found not guilty if they committed the same exact crime under the same circumstances. That doesn't mean it's just, but we're not the ones deciding the laws; we're just analyzing them.
