I’d get a regular job, or live in a country with healthcare.

America is a bad place to freelance

Man, I've never thought about the fact that it was just eight years between releases of Wolfenstein 3d and Deus Ex. Kinda puts things into perspective. I don't even know what you can consider progress in video games in past eight years.

I think real time reflections are still a good way to measure progress, ironically enough

Yeah. I mean it could also be very meticulous cube mapping I suppose, but ray tracing is going to deliver the best results for less development effort.

I don't feel confused anger watching his works though.

But maybe I'm just jealous of the Fyre Fest folks.

Who cares its gonna be like 3 hours and 2 of those hours is her wasting your time with showing off sets and making bad double entendres and doing shitty bits, also like a dozen jokes about "ohohoho im such an alcoholic im so fucked up hehehehe".

    Unbearable to watch.

It seems the way for breadtube. When they get larger, they end up making one or two 3 hour long video per year. Like Lindsay Ellis kept threatening to quit YouTube, but that representes like 2 hours of content to watch per year for me.
