This is horrible.
I watched the documentary called 'The Last Abortion Clinic in Mississippi' and I can see the same political machine going to work against trans people, but somehow even more hateful.
They'd routinely close clinics over ridiculous and arbitrary regulations like hallway width or any old law on the book. Anything to close those buildings.
Once they break things down piece by piece, it'll be hard for these doctors and caregivers to work until finally people are forced to move.
And oppressing trans people is going to be a lot easier for them than with abortions. Lots of women can imagine needing an abortion, lots of men can imagine their casual partners needing one. Very few people can imagine what trans people go. Very few people have any knowledge of trans issues that doesn't come from porn or silly boomer "hurt durr man in dress funny!" comedy.
