          how would people who werent independently rich and werent taking bribes work in the legislature then

    You're absolutely right, I'm glad he's at least talking about it instead of ignoring it.

    But if Shumer was playing hardball (which of course he wouldn't) he would say "No Ukraine money from Congress till Americans get student debt canceled"
