Biden would so much happier in an old folks home.

I don't get it, why did he want to be president so bad?

It's sad that so-called communists would think it's okay to force an 80 year-old man to work 😔

:maybe-later-kiddo:: "Just because Joe Biden says he supports this policy and is THE FUCKING PRESIDENT doesn't mean he should lift a finger if he doesn't want to! Muh infrastructure bill! Isn't that enough? Let the poor man twiddle his thumbs until 2024!"

It’s seriously baffling that all Dems have to do to sweep the midterms is to legalize weed, forgive student debt, and codify something when they have a majority in both houses.

like the facade of their being any road blocks is gone

I grew up Catholic and I know a true believer when I see one. He can be a pro-choice rhetoric guy if that's what is asked of him, but to actually do anything meaningful in defense of abortion rights? That's going to be a lot of Hail Marys and the dude doesn't have much time left.

Reminder that Biden spent much of his career not being Pro-Choice. Watching all the things he spent a significant part of his life being against (abortion, social security, medicare, bankruptcy) crumble under his watch and then watching libs be surprised because he spent a couple of election cycles pretending or outright lying about his previous stances is gonna give me a migraine.

Really never understood the FDR comparisons people tried to make, unless that's what they do with every democratic candidate/president nowadays.

It’s so funny because FDR was everything the modern Dems despise (aggressive, rude, played to populism and the common folk, wanted to pass things to help material conditions)

Schools teach kids FDR good. If we compare a guy to FDR, that guy is good by association. Simple as.

Rehabilitating the work communists and general labor organizing did back then because that's the only reason anything good happened under FDR. Good things happened because democrat, sweaty 💅

Lol Robert Kuttner wrote a whole book on why Biden is the next FDR - and here's the kicker - he published it like a week ago. I do enjoy the American prospect on occasion, but he in particular is their cringiest writer

Also, loving libs looking for someone on the Left to blame. Hey shitheads, start with Obama, RBG, and Hillary.

There's also literally no filibuster on judicial appointments anymore, so there is nothing stopping them from packing the court with 12 more justices except themselves.

You were a senator! You’re absolutely useless. You could codify your presidency forever by pushing hard on this and no matter what else you would be a success to women here forever and hailed as a champion of reproductive rights forever.

    But of course not.

They're already doing it, the filibuster isn't something that holds them back from making the world a living hell. The filibuster makes it so nothing effective can be passed, whether its good or bad which i don't fucking know DTA I guess it's all fucked

It's also something that should have been done decades ago, and you're right, now the idiot Dems have worked themselves into a lose-lose situation, since it's politically inconvenient.

The Republicans aren’t operating on the same set of beliefs as the Dems are. During Trump’s term the Dems basically didn’t use the filibuster, because the Reps say if they use it they’ll just repeal it.
