Lately I've just been getting shadow banned because they're a bunch of cowards
It sucks too because I mostly try to be helpful (answering questions and stuff about niche hobbies), but sometimes I can’t resist going off in a news sub. Pretty sure I’m just IP shadowbanned at this point
After the debacle last night I figured a throwback was in order.
I’m assuming they are talking about the long term user who was banned and then with an alt wrote a long goodbye post where he said he was leaving because racism to white people is actually a problem and that he should get to call people cocksuckers

This is fitting when referring to the irredeemable, but it's sad to me seeing it used like this to a hexbear who fucked up big time, but who was an integral part of the community for all of hexbear/chapo.chat's existence. I do hand it to him. He made some great comments. I missed what went down and it's all deleted now so I can't say first hand, but if he really was going full racist... that's beyond cringe and the ban was deserved. Whatever though, I jived with him a a number of times on here and fuck yeah, I'm still going to uh "hand it to him" even if I'll always insist he fucking self crit. Edit: I mean, I'll probably never talk to him again, which sucks, but you know what I mean.

User wasn't banned. They were losing an argument by insisting that reverse racism is real and refusing to self-crit, made a post complaining about it being impossible to delete an account, made a post declaring they were leaving the site and deleting their account because we are all irredeemably racist toward white people, deleted their account and posts, immediately made a new account under the name "fuckthissite" which was immediately banned because duh, immediately made another new account that was NOT banned to complain about the IP ban they received (no such thing), said a bunch of stupid shit that DID get that account banned, then started spamming alts until I guess either they got bored or finally did some self crit.
Someone insisting they weren't owned and taking a very long time to shrink into a corn cob.
fuck just checked up on that. He should've just stopped after the mudslinging in the thread about that author's tweet the other day. Everyone went with personal attacks there and when it got locked there should've been no continuation. It doesn't make it ok, but having threads clearly baiting a fight to continue are of course going to bring out the worst in people and have them double down. It's why a black feature is desperately needed. Cause based on what he said, yeah needed a ban, but we need a means for people to calm the fuck down instead of screaming
