He seems like someone who doesn't really have a thorough understanding about a lot of things, but opines and makes jokes about them because other people do. I don't think it's bad if you watch him or whatever, as long as you understand to not automatically take what he says at face value, he's often wrong.

Dissenting view and will probably get downvoted for this but whatever. I actually like Jimmy Dore, even though I will admit he can be kinda stupid at times. He's willing to venture outside progressive orthodoxy, sometimes it takes him on the right path (realizing the Dems are shit and we need something new, against voting for Biden) and sometimes it takes him down stupid paths (Hurr durr Tulsi Gabbard, though after she endorsed Biden he dropped her, hey he's consistent). So all in all he's a mixed bag, I just take the good and ignore the bad. I just appreciate he's willing to platform people and views that are often persona non grata on "progressive tube".

Jimmy is staunchly against voting the lesser of two evil and constantly speaks out against 2 party duopoly. In this regards he's right and more radical than Noam Chomsky. People here don't rate Jimmy because yeah he's kinda dumb, always angry, and dont speak in the flowery language of theories. But in terms of practical praxis of radicalizing people out of the 2 party duopoly, calling out the left (especially Obama and Obamanites of whom Jimmy had seething disdain for) fuckups, Jimmy is a very effective communicator.
