These people are citing those videos titled “CHINA IS COLLAPSING” as a credible source lol. How much of this is an op by those channels to get more views?
Hopefully xi jing pooh will get off of honey and actually do something for the damn country instead of strawmening Taiwan for the 86th time
Turing test: failed
I criticize people here for not knowing what words mean, but how did they get straw man that wrong? That's a scapegoat you moron.
I don’t care. I’d prefer a global economic system that doesn’t let countries get away with genocides and other human rights violations just because people would lose money if they even just say something about it
I'm suffering. I'm dying. My irony meter exploded, leaving me with fatal injuries. Goodbye. :agony-acid:
as a comedy line in a communist sitcom people would say it was too on the nose
Angelina Jolie in Iraq saying "at least they're free now" feels like it's out of a Marxist sitcom.
I don’t care. I’d prefer a global economic system that doesn’t let countries get away with genocides
If Xinjiang is really a genocide then ICE camps are an even worse genocide. :picard-direct-action:
:picard-troll: oh wait, I forgot, liberals stopped caring about ICE camps once their septuagenarian racist beat the other sport team's septuagenarian racist
I don’t care. I’d prefer a global economic system that doesn’t let countries get away with genocides and other human rights violations just because people would lose money if they even just say something about it
I hate capitalism I hate capitalism I hate capitalism I hate
No! We can execute them! The rich are to be eaten alive to preserve the taste of fear in their flesh.
I don't wanna eat rich people. Toxins accumulate up the food chain, and they have preyed on us for centuries.
the maoist uprising against the landlords was the largest and most comprehensive proletarian revolution in history, and led to almost totally-equal redistribution of land among the peasantry
Suffering is when you thrive, actually. Also he's probably talking exclusively about COVID lockdowns (oh no) and Uyghurs (oh Zenz).

The US nuked Japan twice, deliberately targeting civilians, and so far refused to apologize for it.
In America, for example, most folks have accepted that it is too costly to buy a home right now. But China is different, socially and economically, real estate is a status symbol as much as it is an investment. If you do not own property, many women (for example) will not even consider you as relationship material. So regardless of the cost, people have been investing heavily into owning multiple homes, even if they do not plan on living in them.
:michael-laugh:
China is the only place on Earth where people see real estate as a status symbol or an investment. Americans know when to buy and will only buy when they need to live in the property, hence why there's never been a real estate crisis in the US
Lmao, redditorrs really are the dumbest people on the internet
:reddit-logo: :galaxy-brain:
The USSR didn't fall or collapse really, it was forcefully dissolved. As of 1991 the overwhelming majority of the population still wanted the USSR around.
It's bs that the majority of the ussr wanted it around. Most citizens wanted to leave the ussr and cooperate with the EU and Nato even more. That's literally why the ussr collapsed.
You mean I get to have historically/politically-illiterate redditors smugly "school" me on the Soviet Union in addition to China? You shouldn't have!
That is straight up some NPC bot behavior
Imagine being that willfully ignorant, you know what post his user page let's tear the motherfucker apart
It's in the same thread tree as the posted comment and I don't want to wade through that bullshit again.
hopefully xi will actually do something for the damn country
Their government does shit for people all the time, that's why Xi's approval rating is higher than Biden's.
Having a government which considers you disposable and you hate in return is actually the sign of a healthy democracy, tankie :liberalism:
When Xi does something for the people it is evil manipulation, he is tricking the people into liking them by giving them what they need in times of crisis. What a devious schemer.
An honest politician will let you and your family die of preventable diseases to make line go up can I get a yee-haw.
Literally one of the most popular politicians in the world, but go off random bootlicking redditers with your dystopian 10% approval rated congress
Their government does shit for people all the time
Like protect them from covid, which I'm told is also a form of 1984 genocide
Here's a Sixth Tone article about it from last month. The long short of it is that it's common practice in China to buy a house before it gets built, and there are industry regulations requiring that money spent on unbuilt houses goes into protected accounts to protect the buyer, but it seems that a lot of developers may have been investing the money illegally and when the stock market dipped during COVID a lot of it vanished. We're hearing about it now because a lot of homes are supposed to have been finished by now that aren't even started, and the development companies are complaining about not having the cash to do it.
Regardless of what the central government does or doesn't do, a lot of working class Chinese people are currently holding the bag, and so there are mortgage strikes and protests breaking out. The stuff about tanks is completely made up though - AFAIK there were images from an unrelated military parade/exercise that went around Twitter with people saying it was a government crackdown on protesters.
So you mean the supposed uprisings against the communist party of China are actually people opposing landlords and capitalists who broke the law? As in, literally the exact opposite?
No, it's just repetition of the initial protests on that one banking company that screwed over people and didn't hand over deposits. That was resolved by the government. As for the tanks it was misreported the tanks were sent out to the demonstrators and instead it was random footage of a training exercise in some other location.
Apparently a significant portion of chuds out there also believe Seattle is a burnt out evacuated husk
They think the same of Minneapolis after 2020.
Until recently I was living there, and when I told them that it's fine they accused me of being a bot lmao
It's getting harder and harder to distinguish YouTube clickwhores, FBI bots, presstitutes and useful idiots swallowing all that :foucault-madness:
Actual gibberish upvoted by 3600 people. Westoid cope is increasingly incoherent and hilarious
