Because right wing libertarianism is the countries foundation. Only way to get rid of this mentality is to burn it to the ground and plant communism cornfields.
I don't think America needs just 1. It needs a dozen mini cultural revolutions in succession.
Corn is not ideal, we should have a variety of crops to push for better health. But things shall grow great when the soil is fertilized with the ashes of this dumbass country.
all of the misfits and sociopaths that couldn't handle civilized life in europe immigrated here.
I was thinking that the other day. I used to think it was the underdogs that left for America from Europe. But now I'm thinking it was the socially awkward ones who couldn't be comfortable in a stable society. They needed to act out grandiose plans instead to prove themselves. Basically, the psychopaths and narcissists.
Honestly if california can't afford to keep the fucking power on they deserve whatever hell they get. Top ten biggest economies in the world and is asking it's people go deal with 80degree household temps during summer. This chud is obv doing it for the wrong reason but I share the sentiment. Guarantee all the factories ain't shutting their shit off at 3pm
I mean I'm a pretty tubby and very white fella, and ~78-80 is fine, especially if I have a fan on me. Considering it hit 115 outside yesterday, 80 indoors is perfectly alright with me.
Depends. I do a lot of game engine shit for my school work so im basically sitting next to a space heater in the middle of the summer. When my AC was out it was very easily reaching 85 degrees with 100% humidity in my house. AC doesn't just make it cooler, it dehumidifies as well.
Huff called Kyle Rittenhouse a "national treasure" and also considered killing himself in 2014. I think he made the wrong decision.
Also advocated for taking Iranian women as sex slaves in a possible invasion. He’s a special type of psycho.
He's probably not literally doing these things, but in any case tweets like this to me show how these chuds' lives are so sheltered that this is their biggest problem, a mayor suggesting that people mildly inconvenience themselves to make the world a bit less shitty for everyone else is the "fascist tyranny" they're so worried about. Meanwhile people face actual problems due to government action/inaction such as homelessness, crippling medical debt, food insecurity, police brutality, etc. but noooo, being asked to do things is the real oppression, and you're a bleeding heart cuck if you care about those other things.
That's the thing that disturbs and confounds me the most. I never imagined so many people were so entitled, spoiled and selfish that they would be unwilling to make any sacrifice of convenience for the sake of society. Not only that, when it happens, like being asked to not drive gas guzzlers, wear a mask, turn down the AC, or just to drink without straws, they flip out like they're under attack. I never noticed this growing up. It seems really crazy how common it is now.
One possibility is that they know deep down that we need a major course correction to address one of several major impending disasters. And they are afraid of the scale of what's coming, so the freak out could be based on thinking the monster has arrived at the door. So its just a reactionary rejection of what they are anticipating.
I've noticed the same thing, but I don't think it's something that changed recently. I feel like people with that kind of attitude have always been around and I just notice it more because now that I'm older I interact with more adults (who tend to be more opinionated on politics than teens) than when I was a teenager, and also my politics/worldview has changed, so when I hear someone say something like "I'm not wearing a mask to help slow the spread because I have the freedom to choose not to" I don't think "well that's just a guy exercising his rights because this is America, and that's a beautiful thing" instead I realize "this guy is a selfish piece of shit who would outright kill me to make a few bucks if it were legal, and basically all the people who run shit think that way, and that's fucked up".
There's a reason they keep ordering things at Starbucks under the name Merry Christmas
Killing/disabling others by spreading coronavirus to own the libs lol. Absolutely pathetic
reaffirming my hatred for the sport of baseball, its players and its fans
The worst type of northern suburban/rustbelt chuds watch it and play it.
and its fans
Some of us aren't bad folks. Is there a reason leftists shouldn't be baseball fans?
Target power outages for these fucks when communism happens. Teach them humility.
the fact that California has a powergrid that could actually be crashed and politicians are asking people to not use air conditioning in the middle of a heat wave is more fucked up than some chud writing something funny on twitter but thats just me
2020 and the electricity might go out in the most developed places on earth lol sick
Is california actually having an energy shortage or is this just some dumb ass "we can save the planet by not watching Netflix for one hour a month" bullshit?
It's more a problem with the infrastructure used to deliver the energy. It was developed for one kind of distribution of loads (which here refers to the stochastic and time-varying demands for electrical energy), which not only pulled less power on average, but also had lower peak loads. Pulling more power than the grid can handle results in smaller networks in the grid being without enough power to deliver.
If only they were one of the biggest economies in the world... Maybe then they could improve infrastructure...
yep. Just the beginning of the list of reasons that utilities should be owned by the state/municipality served by it.
Oh we absolutely have grid issues in the summer. I think our house has had a blackout at least once every year? Sometimes it's a planned (rolling) one and others it's cause a generator blew nearby.
Barely related but I remember seeing a TV commercial PSA telling people to unplug their phone chargers when not in use to save power. Those things use something like a few cents a YEAR when not actively charging. Airing a single one of those commercials probably cost more money than was saved by doing what they said lol
Those commercials don't exist to save power, they exist so libs can be judgemental about others not doing it
Why is that so hard to remember though? I'll never forget coming back from a weekend vacation and seeing one of them on, but remembering to shut them off before I leave is impossible.
I can't remember to turn them off, is my point. But I also do the snooze and rush routine.
Huff has been retired for 8 years. And he's been banished by the team and the fanbase.
Aubrey is a nice name. There's plenty to make fun of Huff for, his name isn't one of those things.
