He lost the option of shutting the site down years ago. He’s almost certainly an asset, which means his usefulness comes from the site being active and continuing to receive donations (money laundering crypto for the feds, in other words). The site is in a perpetual loop of lawsuits and his legal defense is funded by the site remaining open. And then of course, his identity is so hideously owned that shutting down the site means he gets death threats until the end of his days.

There really should be consequences for people driving vulnerable folks to suicide.There's definitely comrades in among there though. I know a few people that had accounts there that would use them for wrecking among other things.

I was chatting with an ex-kf member who left the website around 2014 (When gamergate started, we meet on a MC server) and I asked them if they were worried about their info being leaked during this.

He's not blackmailed, he just despises the website for being full of incredibly awful people dedicated to ruining lives. Over time the website become boring at best (who tf wants to see the gossip of literal nobodies) to outright repulsive at its worst (the suicides, the school shooting, the swatting, fascism etc.)
He's saying that if the releasing of information by whoever hacked the website ended up costing him his job/reputation because of his past association to the Kiwi Farms it'd be worth it just to see the website burn down.

I think it'd be pretty funny if someone made a website where kiwi farms users could type in their personal info to see if it's in the data leak, but actually it was a lie and all of them were deceived, this website is actually collecting their information for it to be posted publicly.

Anyone on that list deserve to be destroyed - well, apart from the few insiders who used burner accounts to gather and archive a lot of the info used in this endeavour.

get you a password manager (i think bitwarden is the best one but idk)
i used to reuse passwords and one of my accounts was found in a data breach and people tried to access all my important shit. probably successfully accessed some less important shit that didn't have 2FA
