I mean ideally probably don't move in with strangers, but that's not viable for everyone I suppose

Seems like living with trusted friends/partners would always be the safest bet, or solo if you can afford it, but if you've gotta look for queer friendly roommates maybe a queer specific site would be less of a minefield than craigslist. Maybe Lex?

Only other queer people I know are full up on roommates or live an hour away, I'm terminally single, and I don't make quite enough money to go for a studio by myself. If I had that luxury I would have done so months ago, but I live in a very queer friendly area (For the US, anyway), so I'm not too worried

      What's Lex, by the way?

I've never actually used lex myself but it's supposed to be an app for finding like, queer friends, events, community kind of stuff, I think? Probably better than a fully public forum full of creeps, though still keep your eyes peeled for red flags, moving in with people is a pretty big commitment

Lex has a bit of a bad reputation for transmisogyny but I also know a few success stories from using it as well. I think it's likely to be better than craigslist.
