This is a mere translation posted on here the other day. I have not looked into the accuracy of this quote, and have reservations given what I have hard about Lukashenko's attitudes towards certain groups (LGBT, Jews) but here it is:

" …A bunch of ideas were suggested to me, that [could be considered] our state ideology; I declined all, since none was close to the soul, to the heart of people. What is an idea that can’t overwhelm masses - as classic spoke - and doesn’t touch heart? That is not an idea. And can not be the state idea.

[…] Since the theory of Marxism-Leninism nothing better was built; "Marxism-Leninism is bad" say some - well maybe it is. But we haven’t created anything better. And it was the whole system of views. Today we don’t have such."

CPB is the best communist party Britain can ask for right now. Light-years ahead of CPUSA is ideological substance, and PCUSA in membership.

If you're British, and you concider yourself a Red, you should be a part of the party and help shape it into the party of the entire working class.

Apparently they actually have close ties with my local CPUSA which is apparently one of the better/more radical chapters.

Bit odd, usually it's supposed to be the international departments that do all the talky talky stuff and not individual cells of the parties.

They've all been terfy to a certain degree historically, to my knowledge there's not a single one that you can say is perfect and that's why Red Fightback ended up becoming a thing. I'm certain CPB comes up in their book from a couple years back but would need to dig through it to find the specific policy, I think it was some "upholding gender rights of women to protect them" terf bullshit.

What the situation is currently with them on terf shit I do not know but CPB has been very visible at events and active in organising lately which has probably played a major role in current growth.

      EDIT:

At the CPB’s 2018 congress, it was decided to defend and promote ‘sex-based rights and protections’ based on the contention that women’s oppression is caused by ‘biological sex’, and ‘reinforced by gender stereotyping’.

      From: https://redfightback.org/read/transphobia_in_the_left#class-origins-of-gender

The other parties aren't spared either. Like I said though this is now several years old and I'm unaware of what the current situation is with them and whether they made strides to improve on this.

EDIT: I'll also add that I've worked with and know several good comrades at CPB. Nobody is going to throw baby out with the bathwater at a time when shit is popping off. Be critical if there's still issues but we've got shit to do right now as well.

So this is actually them being TERF-y and not a ham fisted way of saying that the idea of biological sex is a root of gendered oppression?

I suspect they're going to get a lot of baby Marxists who resonate with the vibe but aren't really big on theory.

I’d join but I’m conscious of putting my name and address on a big list of communists. Hasn’t boded well historically.

Fair, but also keep in mind that not joining a communist party is exactly what the people who would use that list for nefarious purposes want you to do. If the government wanted to have their eye on you, they wouldn’t need a list of communists to do it
