3 exclusively, I will be very fussy about it otherwise.
Real shit, that's my only banana eating range.
3 is the best banana, but you run the risk of accidentally eating a 2.8 and ruining everything
I'm a pretty serious 1-7 kinda guy, assuming you mean also eating the peel.
No, I will not be answering questions.
- naked, straight into my face: 2-4
- with cereal: 2-5
- to make pancakes, waffles, & baked goods: 5+
3 for sure, I really like that tangy freshness. I've been getting a lot more accepting of the higher numbers though, so I'll do up to a 5 without much complaint, and even a 6 if there's really nothing else to eat.
Between 2 and 3 is peak banana imho. Cut that bad boy up in some corn flakes. The others are fine I guess.
Amen. It doesn't taste like fruit any more after 3, just sugar mush.
3-6, once it hits 7 then it becomes banana bread.
1.5 - 2. Ripe bananas are too sweet imo. I like when bananas are firm and slightly acidic
4 is ideal, but I'll happily eat 2-6. 7 is "I should make banana bread" 2 days before I throw it out.
I think the banana companies are doing something different with the ripening process the last few years because the peels stay greener longer, even though the banana is ripening at the same rate.
