Probably some of the worst misogyny I've seen in years on :reddit-logo: but it's a fascinating peek into the wet, mushy brains of conservatives

Not to mention that few things are more destructive to the traditional family than capitalism.

There is one comment which approaches realizing this but doesn't make the distance:

i think you got the wrong idea about pulling their own weight. They certainly did that back in ww2 when the men went off to war. now woman can fill other roles as well, the problem is the wage disparity from then till now. Woman have been forced to work in order to maintain a household. Two wages to cover one of that time. If we could fix our housing and cost of living and bring the numbers back down households could return to single income but atm more often than not double income is required to progress

when a girl buys a vibrator, its seen as a bit of naughty fun. BUT when a guy orders a 240 Volt FuckMaster Pro 5000 blowup latex doll with 6 speed pulsating vagina, elasticized anus with non-drip semen collection tray, optional built-in realistic orgasm scream surround sound system, hes called a pervert?

The one woman in the thread desperately trying to fit in and complaining about the misogyny there...

That's just real fucking sad, dude.

If western civilization is weaken by women who want to be single then this is a weak civilization that deserves to be put down

Yeah, that is why conservatives were so defensive of Andrew Tate

Which I genuinely don't understand. Tate is absolutely not traditional and encourages men to sleep around, drop relationships when they're bored, and cheat on your significant other.

He literally does not share their values and idk why they love him so much other than they both hate women.

Trump at least was anti-abortion and had a wife and kids. He has that veneer so you can handwave any failures.

Tate is straight up telling people to be sinful.

Men can do that. Women can't. Evangelical logic

If anything the decline of western civilization could be traced back to the decline of our use of garum, fermented fish sauce is the lifeblood of a truly civilized people

Ahhh, attributing to individuals as failures that which the wealthy have orchestrated.... never change :reddit-logo:

Like how hard is it to intuit that in order to make something like the post War US nuclear family experience work, which to the extent it existed was a largely unsustainable lie, there are material conditions and incentives which must exist? And that currently the most incentivized or even required thing is to not have kids, have a multi-income household when co-habitating, or just not sign property contracts which are most likely going to dissolve for folks like this?

Also, many younger American men do not know how to do basic mechanical things and many do not even mow their own lawns.

Oh yeah but when it comes to installing Monster Girl Quest translation patch who do they call ????

Most basic mechanical things are not built to be repaired. Oh boy, planned obsolescence! Thanks capitalism!

Funny enough, it was the right wing that demanded constant cuts to school funding and an emphasis on standardized test scores, both of which forced schools to scale back or eliminate things like home economics courses. They got what they wanted and now they're complaining about it.
