"Food made of dragons and ghosts and unicorns and bigfeets and shit needs clear labels, new Texas bill says"

I want in on the grift. I want to be able to write laws making it illegal for satano-liberals to sacrifice children to satan to bring a good harvest for four years then coast on podcasting and cpac appearances and sell gold and boner pills for the rest of my miserable life.

old. It's about using HEK cells to develop sweeteners and maybe flavors. Of course no HEK cells go into any product. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HEK_293_cells

A bill is also filed to make delta 8 illegal. Love my state.

d8 still sketches me out. My state is legal, but I sometimes order "hemp" buds online to make bulk cbd edibles and most of the time it has enough thc to get pretty high high on

sure, I order good quality hemp buds, trim, or small buds from a reputable hemp farm. Last I checked this should be legal everywhere but check your laws. The genetics on cbd hemp flower has gotten ridiculously good so it looks like dank bud, you can also just smoke or vape it like normal and also get all the usual extracts.

          • Grind. I use a goodwill coffee grinder, it will gum it up and wear the motor
          • Spread on a baking tray and bake at 200-240° for like 30-45 min
          • Cover in coconut oil and simmer on low heat setting for an hour or two, temp and make sure it doesn't go above 240°
          • Strain the oil using wire mesh, press the oil out of the "grains" into a jar to use in a recipe or eat by itself. Refrigerate the oil.
          • You can save the grains in the freezer for a rainy day. They are hard to eat and may irritate your stomach but you can probably mix them into a brownie or something.

          notes:

          • You can get a rough estimate of potency by using the paperwork that comes with your hemp, assume you get an 75% extraction, and measure the volume of oil. I generally just wing it since its for personal use, and then test it to see how much a "dose" is for me, but I like to get it to around 10mg in a pea sized piece of oil. I fill 00 caps with a dropper then put them into the freezer.
          • If using glass, make sure not to pour hot oil into a cold jar, I've lost a batch of oil this way.
          • You can double filter with a finer mesh strainer like a reusable metal coffee filter. Depending on the end-use or RoA this might be preferable. I usually don't fine-filter my oil unless I want to boof it.
          • You can use the same tray for decarb and oil infusion to save time and mess. I've used a small corningware dish, pyrex, or pie tray. In this case you would dry decarb, then add coconut oil, turn down the oven a bit, cover, and let it sit in the oven at 150-200° for an hour or so.
          • You can add soy lecithin to increase potency/absorption

Awesome, thanks. Yeah there's one in Oregon I've had good luck with in the past but I've never tried to do all this. Will give it a go

Let me know how it goes. It's very cost effective. A 1000mg CBD tincture is usually around $65. If you get an oz of hemp bud smalls for $40 at 15% CBD that gives you 4200mg of full spectrum hemp oil.

You could use basically the same logic to claim that Texas-based businesses should be boycotted because all economic activity occurring in Texas is "made of" dead Mexicans.
