So I would've had ""some"" sympathy if the art was depicting rebels and revolutionaries, but they're not depicted AT ALL.

It's literally just ordinary Palestinian men and women living mundane lives, like baking food, buying bread, catching some fish in the ocean, and a child reading a book.

The mere act of living a normal life terrifies occupiers.

The display of decorated plates, along with explanations about their significance, was said to have been designed by children at two UNWRA schools in Gaza: the Beit Lahia Girls’ School and the Jabalia Prep Boys’ A School. The designs were painted onto the plates by children at the Chelsea Community Hospital school and the display is entitled “Crossing Borders – a festival of Plates“ and was situated by the entrance to the children’s outpatients’ department. However, the drawings from Gaza all appear to be professional artwork, in the same style, and carried out by the same person.

Even if that's true, it's still pathetic

Another description of a plate says: “The olive branch is the symbol of peace and is used to express the wish for an independent Palestinian state”. However, the picture on the plate accompanying the text shows the Dome of the Rock with a large Palestinian flag, implying that Jerusalem and in particular the site of what had been the Jewish Temple, would be part of a Palestinian state. The Temple Mount is the holiest place in Judaism and it is offensive for Jewish people to see a Palestinian flag over their holiest site.

    lol

None of the drawings seem either professional or similar in style. The person who made that complaint is fucking blind.

They'd prefer it if they were not reminded of the apartheid I guess. I don't know how this is even slightly intimidating, unless they quite seriously can't handle seeing a Palestine flag

I'm sure it's offensive to the Muslims to see an Israeli flag over their (second?) Holiest site idk

I'd imagine having to pick up your familiy's limbs after an airstrike would be pretty offensive

Yeah, seeing the human faces of those victimized by the Apartheid you so enthusiastically support WOULD probably be pretty uncomfortable.

Oh, I remember it was “think of the psychic damage to the Israeli soldiers that are forced to support this unfair apartheid” -something like that

I'm so relieved to learn that this blatant display of antisemitism has been removed. It was probably put up by Jeremy Corbyn as part of his plan to do red-fash communism and kill all the Jews.
